Sorry to say but.... 8 videos of linear interpolation..... Nothing about how PD or CR engine works. Nothing about dependencies over different maps. What will happen if we start injecting very earlier. Should we inject after top dead center ? Anything about SOI/duration maps ?
One useful video as others. As you nickname says you are a VAG guy. As for me i have an Opel(Vauxhall) with 1.7dti driven by delco ecu. The question is do you have any exp in non-vag mapping? And do you can you give examples of mapping forums and resources. Because most of resources i find are US based, where they have a VAG or chevy/dodge pickups with 10 liter diesel engines.
vagecumap Got my hands on this stuff. And i got an issue spot-on. WinOls does not find any suggested maps. And going throug it, finding something similar to graphs in videos(IQ and injections start) it does not let me add info as a map without selection improval button, but with it, it captures much odd info But in text there is nothing like mad number 00000 00016 whatever there is nothing like it(
What do you think also, about increasing angle of injection in middle range(EGR) area above 0? I mean for bmw cars there is a retarded timing with -. -1.5 , -1, around here. What if i advance this area to 0, do I need to increase duration map in this area? I mean i dont see any reason to increase duration and IQ in this area, only optimizing advance.
quite enjoyed the series so far and haven't fallen asleep
Thanks for your hard work
Very usefull ! thank you so much
Why on my bmw 320d the max angle is 16 degrees in original map? its a vp44 rotary pump.
because rotary pump can not inject fuel as early as cr or pd systems
Thanks for the series. Where is the RPM limit set?

Over advancing SOI will damage engine. You should measure exhaust gas temperature closely.
Nice!
