Great review PJ! Just an opinion but you would think that the hub cap (same color as sight ordered not custom) would come with the sight to protect elevation gears….. if you have to buy accessories to actually make it the best sight your getting up around Mathews UV money!
That really looks like a sweet sight, I would love to see this one in person, we dont have an archery shop near us. Thanks for what yall are doing to help all is archers who dont have an archery shop anywhere near us, thank you and keep up the fun videos. Dale
I handled one of these a few days ago and was very impressed. It's light but solid and the wheel adjustment moves like butter. The ranger pin model could be in my future.
I debated between this, the new HHA Nytrx, Dailed Pruf, and the new UV slider… After a good month of studying all four sights I ordered the Axcel driver with an AVX-41 double pin setup. I believe it’s truly the best bowhunting sight available today. If your like me and need the best of the best, this is it boys! Can’t wait to put it to use in Ohio this fall!
PJ, coming from a tetra max, does axcel provide some kind of calibration tape to help you decide which sight tape has the correct markers for longer yardages?
I know you're watching history at the shoot right now...but are the sight tapes interchangeable with the original landslyde ? Particularly curious because of the 100+ tapes. Thanks
Your goddamn right im getting this sight!! 😂😂 Finally a sight that peeks my interest and wont totally break my bank like the robbers at UV. Saving 1 or 200 bucks it worth it to me.
Because they are saying the scope connection is machined to be a perfect right angle to the vertical bar. So when you level the first axis , the second is guaranteed to match it
I mean if they're precision machining it to be slaved to the first axis I prefer that. Of course I will check it myself and send it back if it's wrong but I like not having to worry about losing my second axis in the woods. Slider track lean is a concern though for me
Flagship bows are $1200 to $1500. If you want to be smart about money then find a pro shop and wait until they have a 1-2 year old demo model for sale. I got an elite envision for $650 a year ago it shoots great
@JulzA89 not even close to true. The only bow that'd close to 2k is the pse mach 35 carbon. And that's $1899. Stop lying bro. Or you just don't know what he'll your talking about. 🤷 Any mathews lift is $1,299.and hoyt is the same besides their carbon which is $1600.
Update on when we expect the pre orders to start shipping?
Axcel is supposed to start shipping to us Jan 30
@@pjreilly3997fingers crossed

Great review! Can’t wait!
By far the best new sight on the market.
"SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"
Been pre-ordered for awhile now.
Can't wait to get mine hopefully nexted week
Sounds like they are shipping to dealers mid February
Did you order directly from Axcel?
You won’t have it for at least a month, maybe 3 weeks at best.
Talked to your rep at Shot Show in Vegas.
This is what is going on my new elite Exalt LD.
When are they shipping???
When does Lancaster expect to ship their preorders ?
Axcel expects to start shipping Jan 30

Yes
When do you guys start shipping pre orders?

I thought they were going to have matching pin indicators. Green red green.
Also when will we get them. 😎
We mention the change in the video
does it come in 3 pin vertical?
Can a light be mounted? (For hunting inside blinds)
Yes

Does anyone know if this sight has a light or a way to illuminate the pins?
It doesn’t come with one, but you can add one
@pjreilly3997 thank you sir!
I wish the micro yardage knob was engraved with up or down, it’s something I always forget.
Paint pen is your friend. I do that on every micro adjust I use
@ for sure! They do it on the windage knob so I wish they did it on that one
Expected date for stock to hit?
I called today and it sounds like mid Feb for the first shipments to arrive at dealers

Why doesn’t it have second axis adjustment?
Because they are saying the scope connection is machined to be a perfect right angle to the vertical bar. So when you level the first axis , the second is guaranteed to match it
I honestly don't understand their decision to drop the second axis adjustment.

Think is has something to do with being too similar to the new UV mathews sight
It does not have 1st Axis adjustment?
It has first….not second
Anyone know if you can still swap out scopes with the new model?
You can
@@LancasterArcherySupply sorry meant to say "aftermarket" scopes
@@south_hunts_605Still yes…..
I wonder if they made the changes because of patent infringement with uv🤔
Yes that is why
I always love his reviews. But should have done it with all 3 mount types not just one……..
We didn’t have all 3……this was all we will have for a while
Ya still have to hold the pin on the X.
Not slotting the tapes was super cringe
$500 for a flagship hunting sight is now standard. $2k for the flagship bow…we are gone

@Lexidezi225really depends on brand 😅 maybe sub $1.5k for Darton/Elite/ some Bowtech. Hoyt n mathews well over 2k at Lancaster

Been waiting 2 months now….
It’s taking so long to ship and not much on this sight
Typical Axcel , I’ll check back in in about a year to see if anyone has any.
Be slick if he could just go over the features instead of every time explaining how a slider works
