It’s fine to talk to the archers. It should just be a pre-taped interview, and not in the middle of them shooting. It’s deeply unfair to archers who speak English as a second language or archers with less experience than a competitor. Otherwise, I really love watching these shoots.
I've nvr been to lancaster classic, but I'd hate doing interviews. I'd wanna just keep shooting but some guy with a mic interrupts the matches mid way.
I believe PJ has mentioned that they wanted to make Lancaster different once they were able to get the larger venue around 8 years ago and they said that usually no one knows what the pros are shooting sometimes so this was a way to do it. Honestly, I like it, better than awkwardly standing on a stage and not doing anything, it would definitely get my mind off of things
