Great review! I really enjoy your videos btw, and you've convinced me to get this lens for my scans. Curious, what mask are you using to hold your film? It looks like it keeps it flat-pretty cool stuff.

It’s really good lens so far, i start using it even for digital photography. You always can use link in description for purchase;). l have several options, glass holder from enlarger, holder from the enlarger without glass and some modern holders, honestly simplest solution is always better.

There are some differences. This lens has a 6.9" (17.5 cm) minimum focal distance, whereas the 7Artisan is listed at 10.24 in. (26 cm). Based on my own negative scanning mount set-up this is a significant.
