The video is awesome and really instructive! A bit disappointed I needed additional tools not coming in the package and then I wasn't aware earlier. What would be the extra cost, 10 bucks? Best include those!
Just wondering, I’ve changed the cassette on my Tacx Neo from a 11 speed to a 12 speed, I’m now getting a rubbing noise and the chain is jumping from the biggest gear. Will l have to change the rear hub to stop the noise etc?
Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear you are having some challenges with the Tacx NEO 2T and the new cassette. Please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to troubleshoot and assist.
Thank you for your question. As long as you have the same cassette on the Tacx NEO 2T as you do on your bike, you shouldn't need to adjust the derailleur.
Hi Thanks for the video, very well explained ;) I have a standard road bike with a 9*130 mounted and everything work perfectly ! But I wish to switch with a 12*142 from time to time, is there a spare part/adaptor that would help me to avoid to unmount the cassette and provided adaptors each time ?

I just purchased a new Tacx-3M and the mounting options have changed somewhat. There are no DS or NDS designation on the end caps, just the sizes. Also, it comes with four silver aluminum inserts to accommodate either 12mm thru-axles or standard road bike skewers.
Thank you for your question. Please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist with your specific application. Also, you may need to use the included spacer so your disk brake rotor doesn't hit the body of the NEO 2T. Product Support will be able to provide more information.
Thanks, this helps a lot. I thought it's a part of necessary parts/tools that do not come in the package, as it was on the same side of the table as the tools. I just wanted to make sure I can find all the additional parts I'm going to need before I buy this trainer
@@miloss208 I bought it used so never got anything except the trainer. I watched another video and it seems it’s a normal spacer you get with cassettes so it’s all good
Thank you for your question. There shouldn't be any issues mounting that bike to a NEO 2T using the 142x12mm end caps. You may need the 2.7mm disc brake spacer installed on the non-drive side end cap so that the caliper doesn't rub on the trainer. That spacer is included in the box.
Hi! Can you explain the difference between the T2875-01 and the T2805.01 (S) cassette body? I have the last one already installed on my trainer and i have problems mounting a 9 speed cassette on it. It's too short when i use the distance rings. Thanx for your answer in advance:).
Thank you for your question. The T2805.01 (S) is for a Type 1 axle and the T2875-01 is for a Type 2 axle - based on the axle diameter. If you are unable to mount your 9 speed Shimano/SRAM cassette using the 1 mm spacer, please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist.

Bref , next

Do you need to adjust the derailleurs every time you switch the rearwheel from trainer to bike and backwards?

How to brake, slow down or stop the trainer while doing workout?
Just stop peddling. You’ll come to a stop pretty quick

What is the size of the spacer on the drive side? Is that 1.85mm spacer, or something smaller (if I have 9 gears for example)?
