Tommy! His just a star! His got the Flatties sorted and his starting to sort Dad out too! Won’t be long your 10ft Cast Net will go missing same time as the Boat, his all over it! Amazing watching him grow into his fishing with a passion as much you do John! Epic stuff! 👍
Fair dinkum, you are really such a great example to all us poor excuses for fishermen. The way you organise all yr stuff for a day out on the water and yr attention to all the details needed for a days fishing really inspiring.
Love ya commentary John. My Thommie landed his first flathead on an MMD soft prawn last week. I feel your frustration regarding other boaties driving straight over your lure too. Keep.up.the great work.
G'day John, great to see the young fellow getting right into it, before you know it he'll be wanting to enter the Flatty Comp.. I just spent a week down there but I didn't ever bother taking a rod as I knew with my girl's the only thing they'd be wanting to do, is go shopping. The weather turned it on down there last week, although not looking so great for the last week of school holidays until maybe Friday and the weekend at this stage , well beaches that is but those overcast skies are great for fishing... good luck to all the grommets enjoying a break.
Good, stuff John , always admire your patience and passion to share your knowledge with everyone especially the younger generation , and your discernment to know when to let the learn and explore, for, themselves. Good on ya bloke. That Tommy is a gun already too.
Keep the videos coming mate. I'm loving young Tommy's frothing on fishing with his old man. I'm looking forward to my boys doing the same. Keep them coming mate
Awesome video just a few things what is Tommy's PB on the flathead he's doing so well for such a little bloke. i recommend 6/0 gang hook for the jet skis with a heavy drag lol. keep up the great video.
How good! Mate just wondering if Tommy has his own rod or just uses yours? My boy is 6 and we get out a bit bit stuggle a bit with daughter cheap kids rods. Or mine which are a bit too long. Any info would be great. Cheers mate
luv ur vids, im just getting into surface lures and i was wondering what topwater lures you would recommend for whiting, bream, and maybe even flathead. cheers!
The GC jet ski fraternity just loves to keep giving in the ignorance category. You did well mate. They would of copped a 3/8oz jighead or 8oz snapper lead if I was on your boat
Mate the whiting is the best way to start. You can watch it from a mile off and see how it moves across the flats. They all do the job. Baby Flathead is also legit
Lol we used to catch fish in Maroochy River but the rude inconsiderate boaties and jet skis have made it unbearable. I use a jet ski for fishing but it’s not that hard to be a little considerate.
Lovin Tommy's banter. He's all over you Johnny lol. Never let him forget Tommy when you outfish the ole man. Good stuff. cheers.

Awesome day out with the young fella you go Tommy out fished dad again

Great, its good to see you helping the fellow fishing community
Love the tiny cast net very cool.
Good work men. Go Tommy. You'll have to change the name to my junior lure box. 😉👍

I know it’s a good day when I can watch your newest vids with my morning coffee, thanks for your efforts and insight

Thinking about buying the soft glide, is there a colour that performs better than the others?

@@mylurebox might get the whiting to start then, thanks🤙
Yep Grubs on Jetskis!

All the idiots on the jet ski's think they own the waterways.
No thought of others nor kids on small boats.
It's the same with the ski boats also.
