Take a look at sales figures: the GX is selling better now than it was at the height of the SUV craze in the mid-2000’s. This might not be a huge segment, but Lexus knows it’s customers well.
Read a lot of the comments. People who are NEVER going to buy the Lexus GX are complaining about the tech. People who plan to buy the Lexus GX is doing so because everything is simple to use and the Lexus GX will last forever (20 years +)

I honestly feel like Lexus's triple beam headlights are totally worth it. They really complete the look of any Lexus model!

Very thorough video...thanks! I've been looking at the GX and LX for some time and decided the GX for my purposes is probably the best way to go (daily driver city/suburban, family travel and off-road/camping/deep wood hiking, etc). As I want to add a 2-3" lift, the rear air suspension is not something I really need and there other aspects of the Luxury version that make the Premium more desirable. However, I do wish leather, Mark Levinson stereo and off-road package were available as options on the Premium. Could you please share how the NuLuxe seat material in the Premium compares to leather in terms of quality feel and long term durability...which do you prefer? Is the 2nd row bench seating (not Captains chairs) comfortable? Also, would you know if is is possible to custom order a Premium with leather and Mark Levinson stereo? Thank you!

RX is 10mm(1cm) longer and wider than the GX. GX is just taller. The aerodynamic body of RX makes it look smaller

Can someone please tell me why the back of the Lexus gx is different from what I’ve seen. The back has those red lights the one I see has silver lights at the back? Which one is which I’m confused.

The Sport Design package ones have the smoked red taillights, plus the dark silver lower bumper trim front and rear. I believe it also forces you into the second-row captain's chairs. The Sport Design package has been a thing since 2017, so it's not new with the 2020 refresh.
I wish all the GXs had at least the red taillights. They look better than the clear/Altezza style ones on non-Sport-Design models. The early model years (2010-2013) had solid red taillights, but they didn't have quite the same pizzaz.
Do you know of any aftermarket turbo or supercharger kits for the GX ? I’m concerned about it’s poor passing performance. Thanks.

Not everyone wants a full-size but needs some towing capacity.

@@youarerightboss Nahhh. Not everyone may look good driving the LX; it's quite huge. I agree that the LX has more tech and is more expensive but I don't think it'll look good on just anyone. Maybe fat people lol.
@@sanmio6886, the LX is the flag ship of SUVs. I like the Land Cruisers and Sequoias, too. Big toys for big boys.
Dicky Ball maybe you mean the Range Rover or another European SUV is the flagship of SUVs. Maybe the LX if you’re talking about the Japanese market, but in terms of SUVs overall, we have many good ones before the LX; the Range Rover, the G Wagon, the X7, the Bentayga, the Cullinan, etc.
