PRS SE-245 was my first PRS at start of 2023 - just ordered the SE-Santana - can't wait to receive it in September - it is on back order - worth the wait - these guitars are extremely well made ..completely got me back into playing .
I absolutely LOVE your realness Ryan. I love that you give honest views of guitars, regardless of price or name & love what you said about the $ deal of 800 being in your range, but you wouldn't buy in a whim like you would a 150 Harley Benton. I think your the most honest & real youtuber that I've came across...we're kinda kindered spirits for real brother. God bless you & what you do my brother. Much respect from this mega fan from OKC, OK. You got me LOVING Harley Benton...I've got to get my hands on one 😂 😂 😂
That is an awesome PRS. I have a PRS SE Custom with a Spalted Maple top and it is fabulous. I tried the same Santana and it's awesome as well for classic rock, blues, jazz, hard rock and metal. It's a beast.
I see them in stores all the time...never picked one up because I know what'll happen! Love Santana's playing...so emotional and in the moment! One day I won't be able to resist! But It'll have to be that flaming redish salmon colored one! Rock on and thanks for sharing Ryan!😎🎸
Playing a PRS Santana, I expected you to play some Carlos Santana songs, Samba pa ti, Europa, Oye como va, these 3 songs would help show the possibilities of that guitar, from clezn to dirty. I had that PRS Santana for a while, excellent build, pleasing tones, confortable neck, but sold it because not at ease with larger bout and shape of body.
Santana yellow , looks great. I had the semi hollow se in that color, wasn’t the Santana model. They are good guitars clear sound and well made. Depends if you like them. 😊
I have that guitar and it's my favorite. I got it used (like new) for $440. Buy one. :) You need to buy a headless guitar! I just bought an inexpensive one (never thought they looked good) and it's really growing on me and is very comfortable to play. I now "get it".
Just got one and swapped out the pickups with some Monty's PAFs and this is officially my new favorite guitar. Just need a bone nut and tuners and this thing will outplay any of my other guitars no doubt
Can only agree with you. There are no words to be found playing this guitar. It just inspires you - at least that's what happened to me and I can absolutely understand when you say: You don't know how to describe it. It's just wonderfull ;-)
Thats a real "working man's" guitar....i would totally rock that on gigs...especially outside deck party gigs..and at $800-900 it would work well and i wouldn't have to be so careful with it from weather or what not...
hey, i recently bought an SE Santana with vertical cherry red finish and black pickups. it might be a custom but i honestly can’t figure out what the model is i can’t find it anywhere, it might be custom. no clue. it seems special though
How do you find the tone in terms of clarity? have a Santana SE from the earlier generation (22 fret) and no matter what pickups I've tried, and EQ settings, the guitar is muddy with no bite. Too bad because the playability is fantastic. Just wondering if yours is any different? In the video it sounds really nice, just wondering what you think in person.
Maybe it's down to the great patches you have created on your HX Stomp but as a predominantly single coil guy myself, I absolutely LOVE the sound you get out of this axe. My only disappointment was that at 01:32 I was sure you were going to Rumble but then you got distracted. Anyway, great demo. It's a good job you're returning to Germany because now that you've heard this in post edit, you must realise... you NEED this guitar! And hey, if it's good enough for Carlos... ;)
I can’t get over how good that thing sounds!! Your making me wanna tell the Boss Lady my tummy hurts and go home and play mine but it doesn’t sound that good ...pick ups? Maybe 🤔
I do like this guitar - great looks / good sound. I do recommend you look at and review a Jazzmaster style guitar with varitone - right up your alley called Tagima TW 61.
I think they look more cool, something different. Everywhere just dots on acoustic, electric... boring. I noticed PRS when Mayer played them in Insta live
Yep, that body color= pineapple. Headstock would be perfect if it was in the shape of a bunch of pineapple leaves splaying out :D Ryan, TGU closed like a month ago, are you sure you haven't outstayed your invitation?
Store near me have a sale for this guitar for 499 euros.. How to not to buy it? Can anyone help me? I am sick ,I have like close to 30 guitars ,but for the money ,it can be back up of the back up... I am just not sure of that bridge ,any experiences in real world ,anyone?
@@60CycleHumcast I agree I love the way this guitar plays and feels ..... its quality 100 percent . I bought mine used, in mint shape .... at half the price .
@@60CycleHumcast I'm pretty sure my point came across in the original comment. I was asking why not review more American made guitars it ould be interesting to see how they compare to the cheaper versions.
You like the look of it because it is a Gibson les paul dc shape copy, in their version of tv yellow. The SE line is straight rubbish, low quality stuff. Prs has meh quality. Seen lots of core builds with stain bleed into binding, sharp fret ends (since they don't have fret nibs, let alone binding around the neck), tuning stability issues, incorrect cut nut slots and let us not gloss over the fact that their finishes fade faster than any brands. You should see some of the guitars posted on the PRSGOW page. The lack of quality is unreal.
Nobody said that you would, or that anyone would. It is clearly a les paul DC copy in their version of what we all know as tv yellow. I'm saying that it is a familiar body shape/color combo, and that would be a plausible explanation as to why you might like its aesthetics.
There's a video where he plays with Jeff Beck; after CS played an over the top solo JB didn't even try to follow. So CS definitely underplays almost all the time. He wouldn't have the rep he does if his usual playing were all he had IMHO.
The guitar should come with that shirt, they're a great match.
seriously

A PRS flametop and a pineapple Hawaiian shirt. You are in an element that may be close to molten lava!👍

Great guitar. PRS doesn't make junk. Pickups don't sound cloudy at all. But being a PRS you have to play it through a MESA BOOGIE

Buy it and sell off 5 of your cheap ones! It is a well built PRS guitar that will last and hold value.

I got that same exact guitar for $400 including the PRS Soft case. Great guitar for 4 bills.
where did you find one for 400$ :) is it new?
Such a beautiful looking guitar
Sounded good to me, definitely a good looking guitar.

pineapple PRS pops more that the shirt Sir Santana and Toucan Sam would both be happy with that axe.
I love that guitar, wow
Buy it! It's loud just like your shirt!😎
I play southern rock on mine it's my main guitar. I've got Les Pauls and strats tele too
Cool to see Ryan Fitzpatrick review a PRS
Sounds pretty good to me, there's one in the neighborhood classifieds for $700 CAD that this vid might have convinced me to grab...cheers!
I like the shorter scale length on this guitar the best.

funny...I'm a standard guitar guy..I own 16 fender, gibsons,epis a 6120 & a Ric...If i bought a PRS.. people would expect me to be actually good...
Pineapple guitar for a pineapple shirt, I'm down
havent commented in a while ryan but your licks an sound were good there i think its a sighn an u have nothin bad to say its a go...

Don't like markers generally, dots are all I want. Not buying a guitar with those birds. I'd be ok with genuine abalone blocks however.

Modern ones. I want real vintage ;-)

Official Guitar color. Pineapple

Ryan, I still think you had too much Sun in Germany.
You are literally radiating Hot Pink...
🎶😅😅
im always a bit pink, the lights there didnt help it much. i use specific lighting at home to mute the pink a bit.
@@60CycleHumcast 😄
Does it features a 1 piece Neck?
Nice dude
This guitar is only like $850 in US dollars?
You can find it for about $500 used.

if i had this guitar id probably swap in pickups with more character. but it did feel pretty damn great

Does PRS do endorsement deals with the YT community? You need to get hooked up.
Sassy Cat I don’t think they do. Not for folks at my level anyways

@@stephenghowe When Santana is playing with other people he makes sure he doesn't overshadow them. Because that is the kind of person he is.
