Bland's rendition of "Stormy Monday" is a soulful and bluesy masterpiece that has become one of his most iconic songs.
This expressive version was released in 1962 on his album Here's the Man!
Bland is a renowned American blues and soul singer, who had a unique ability to infuse deep blues into his performances, and "Stormy Monday" showcases this.
With a smooth, velvety voice, Bland delivers each line with skill, capturing the essence of the blues genre.

Great lesson. One of my all time favorites. Two words...Wayne Bennett.
I love that T Bone Walker Chord. I will add it to my bag of chords. You are always the best at explaining a song.
Bobby Bland's version with Wayne Bennett is my favorite version of "Stormy Monday."
Awesome. Thanks!
Nice lesson. Thanks!
I love the Albert King version too
The one I really love is the 1966 Clapton/Mayall Bluesbreakers version. Are you interested in examining that, as well, Jon? It would be absolutely a dream: www.youtube.com woul/watch?v=Az7sLKGOUe8
