Idk why but my favorite way you start the review is by saying, “let’s flip the camera and get on with it.” That just makes me smile for some reason. Your joy comes through more when you say that, I think.
Now 3 months on and I can honestly say that this is the best watch I have ever owned. So comfortable and light to wear it might as well be invisible! Lume is amazing and it keeps excellent time.
I'm a fan of the handset, particularly the second hand. Love the way the coloured tip reaches in into the chapter ring. The movement is pretty much the best you can expect for a microband watch in this price category. I know it's disputed whether Zelos still counts as a microbrand.
Watch arrived yesterday. Opened up the parcel and worked my through the various layers of packaging - outer papar, padded bag, cardboard sleeve and then the wooden box. Opened it up to find a nice leather look wallet containing the watch itself. After removing all the plastic protection and 2 links on each side of the bracelet I am now proudly wearing a lovely timepiece! Light as a feather compared to my various Tissot and Pagani watches. The quality of the finish is excellent and the lume amazing. Very pleased to have seen Jody's review of this watch and to have taken the plunge based on his review. :)
Not going to be awake when realised (1am Sydney time) so have asked my teenage son to log in and grab the Blue MoP. As he sits up gaming anyways, he was more than happy to oblige (provided I extended his wifi a little longer tonight). Thanks again Jody for getting this vid out before release 🙏
got lucky enough to get the meteorite dial. can't wait. first "serious" watch purchase for me. never in my life would i have thought to spend more than 550 for a watch... but here I am.
Hi Jody, my preorder of the "Frost, Mako Titanium", arrived yesterday. It's a beauty! I will also note that the movement is staying right on point with no variation in seconds since I set the watch at 6pm last night. As of today at 8:30am, it's bang-on to the second. Excellent! I think I have found at least 1/3 of the watches in my collection (about 20) from watching your channel. Thanks for all you do, brother! Mike
Well I just got my 8th Zelos, wow went for storm grey very nice, wearing my bronze teal mako today, thanks Jodi for putting me on with this awesome watch brand!
I think the issue with the flecto is that it is a 1:1 reflection, because of the dome it seems. Whereas on flat thick crystals they basically magnify the image so it's harder to see your own mug staring back at you when you look at your watch. I noticed this when i did a domed sapphire mod on a Seiko
I have 4 of the ‘big’ Zelos boxes. 2 of the small boxes. I appreciate the size decrease(have at least 100 boxes stashed away)…I have the Mako V3 (my favorite, of the six Zelos’s, in my collection). Thanks Jody for the great review!
WHY DID YOU MAKE THIS REVIEW. I told myself, “you don’t need another Zelos”. I told myself I was going to set this one out. I even deleted the count down timer from my mailbox… but now after seeing them. I HAVE TO BUY IT!!!! At least I can hide my boxes better now. Thank you for the great review but your feeding my watch addiction, not sure if you should be proud or ashamed of yourself. All jokes aside I love your content, you are my favorite watch reviewer!
What a lovely watch. Understated and elegant! That green strikes me as a very early 1970s green; like my sister’s Gran Torino. It’s calming (to me, anyway).
I was a little late on the purchase of my first Zelos. But finally got my first early this year with the emerald green hammerhead 2. Great watch and excellent quality
I’ve bought (and subsequently sold) a Swordfish 40 bronze and Hammerhead 3. I was a little disappointed in the sharp edges of the HH bracelet and the size of the dial on both. Dial diameter (not case size) is something that most manufacturers or watch reviewers don’t highlight? For me it boils down to he fact that, approaching my 60th year, my eyes appreciate a bigger, easier to read dial 🤓. The dial on this Mako looks a little bigger but it’s hard to tell without knowing the actual dimensions. Also the bracelet looks a lot smoother on the edges so an improvement there. How about including dial diameters Jody, for us auld yins that don’t want to put our gregories on to read the time?
Thankfully I don’t have to hide my watch purchases from my wife, she buys as many for me as I do! Great watches from Zelos as always! Great review as always Jody!!!
I have an HH3 with the mother of pearl dial. Such a cool look, way more subtle than I was expecting but incredible in the right light. Going to try and get a timascus but if they sell out before I get the chance will grab another MOP dial.
You can't get away from the fact that is one hell of a good looking watch, love that hand set. The little details on these set them apart I'm my opinion. You can spend a lot more for a lot less in the looks department.
I have a white dial Mako v3 on a bracelet and it is a great watch. I love the idea of a titanium Mako but can’t bring myself to own two of the same model. I also have a crimson SF40 and a MOP HH3. Call me a Zelos fan.
I really like these watches and thought about buying one, but in a Zelos FB group there were owners talking about having to use Locktite to keep the screws in the bracelet and problems with the crown popping out and even coming off. Being a micro brand I don’t know the level of customer service or parts available so I just couldn’t pull the trigger. I was writing this as I was watching the video and I see there are still problems with the crown and bracelet. Love your videos. Are you a member of any T-shirt clubs? Any recommendations?
I have one of those travel cases, I paid $50 for it. It's awesome for vacation. The only draw back it only holds 4 watches. That limits you to only 5 choices. Oh! The watch is nice too.
Guess I'll find out how much of a crackhead I am... The meteorite mako TI will be my first mako and second Zelos ever. Sold my first , the HH3 , because it was too chunky for my liking.

Been promising myself for my last five watches that the next one would be a full lume dial and finally fulfilled that promise today by ordering the Frost. The Storm Grey tempted me though.
Despite my last comment made a year ago, I have bought a used grey one. In my opinion it is sooo much better than the Swordfish Ti, which I owned and didn't like. The Ti is so good it looks like SS, and despite the long L2L with the male end link included, it still fits well to my 6.75" wrist
