- I feel like I am the last cab off the rank with this watch as the release has already begun and there are plenty of people who have reviewed it on YT already. But in saying that I share my experience and observations with this titanium model and what it brings to the table

Thanks for watching...
Have had mine for three days now , im in love with it. I got the meteorite version , its so versatile , the dial becomes almost completely black at some angles. Being full titanium makes it extremely lightweight and with that coating it becomes a perfect daily
Great stuff, enjoy its versatility 👍
I ordered the blue MOP dial. Very nicely done. The crown would not screw back down, but Zelos had a new one shipped out in no time. This one will go back when the new one lands. Really like the trust in customers shown by the company. No other issues with this great watch! Great review, Peter. Thank you.
Thats great customer service indeed 👍
Man it's enough for me just to hear your voice. You are so positive.my favorite watch You Tuber...
My new best friend 😂
Appreciate the encouragement 🙏
Gilt hands on a Black dial. Always a fan favorite, including your wife. Just ask any Tudor Black Bay (Black) owner. It looks amazing when you have just enough light, but not too much, and the gilt hands just glows on the dial. I loved waking up to my old Tudor BB with the morning light hitting it perfectly. Magic!
This is the exact one I am looking at, thanks for the excellent review. Can't believe that it is still available.
What a great review! You have a talent for showing watches up close and personal. You really get into the nooks and crannies, as it were. I was on the fence with this watch, but will now order the red one. Cheers Peter!
It’s definitely a little beauty
Enjoy
Nice! As a kid on Christmas day, today I picked up my Mako V3 from the post office and couldn't wait to unwrap the packaging!
I went with the Ti-Damascus one, so it's actually a stainless steel V3 with Ti-Damascus dial and bezel. I really liked to have a bit of a twist for my first Zelos.
It's definitely a nice addition to the collection. Kinda has similar dimensions and wears about the same as my Seiko SPB143J1.
Might have a go at putting it on a navy blue NATO strap or something, for some reason, like yours on that Horween leather strap, I think it might beat the bracelet.
Hello Peter, I will be receiving this exact watch tomorrow and I am pumped because it will be Zelos because my first because I have always been late to the party. I have seen a couple reviews already but you are the first to: put it on a time Grapher, acknowledging that the sound of the bezel has a harsh sound because it is Titanium. Thank you for your realistic observations....
Enjoy it when it arrives, it really wears well on the wrist, a pleasure actually 👍
What an absolute spec monster! Looks gorgeous too
Zelos is one of my favourite micro brands, they have done a great job with this one although I’m not a lover of patina lume but it works with that dial.
Zelos has got quite a cult following them for a good reason. Their watches are always well built and follow a specific design language, albeit with variations, some watches are big and intimating and some come in a wearable size like this one. I've purchased two watches from them and each time it was a pleasing purchasing experience. Nice review, Pete! 👍
Cheers Alex 👍
Gotta say I really like the double dome sapphire Crystal on this watch. Great review Peter and fantastic looking timepiece.
Cheers
I'm a fan. I already have the swordfish 40mm and I have the teal version of this titanium mako on order. Just great value for money pieces.
I really like that bezel edge; terrific value for money.
I’ve never been a titanium fan in regards to watches but this is a beautiful watch 👍🏻
It does look good indeed 👍
Nice video Peter, I have this watch in the Frost version. It has become my favorite watch (of 20 watches). It's a strap monster, and goes with any colors you may be wearing. Beautiful piece!
Great watch company, specs and attention to design, detail, fit and finish.
Excellent review and watch. Thank you. I have the MOP version for about a week now. Must have been the first one sent out. I agree with so many things you said. I could praise this thing for days. Two big negatives. One, the hands are waaay too thin. Two, and this is a big one, that heavily domed crystal is super reflective making the MOP dial almost impossible to see in about 90% of light. This is a serious issue particularly with the delicate MOP dial. Add to that the super thin hands and this is flat out jewelry and not a useful tool, especially for those of us with aging eyes. And yet, it’s a thing of beauty to look at despite the horrific glare. Maybe that’s what your wife noticed. ;)
Most probably right 👍
Thanks for sharing
Cheers
It's a great looking watch . I picked up a Great White a couple of years ago and it's a beauty. It's easy to see why they are such a popular brand
Nice watch. I am still waiting on mine. Ordered over two weeks ago and still no updates. I'm so looking forward to this watch. C'mon Zelos!!
The male end links could be an issues if the watch was larger, but as it stands should be fine for a lot of wrist. I have two on the way. I enjoyed the review. Kudos to your wife .. she has an eye for a good looker.
As always, Peter, your skills in photo/videography are impeccable! 😘
I am waiting for them to ship out the blue Mother of Pearl, I really can't wait. But, I'll tell you, the choice of dial was difficult. Honestly, I hadn't even considered the antiqued/patina versions.
I'm kind of lucky I didn't watch your video before choosing, 'cause you'd have made my choice all that much harder! 😝
In the end, I went with the Mother of Pearl because I don't have any similar dials, and from the vids I did see on it, it felt VERY subtle, which is something I appreciate. I felt that subtlety paired well with the very nice edges and finish on the case and bracelet; for an overall package that won't be screaming out to everyone around me to 'LOOK AT MY WATCH'. Anyways, that was my brain computing my choice.
Have a good one!
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
The watch has been a pleasure on the wrist, let me assure you 👍
I got the Zelos Hammerhead II last year. I promised it, that it would see the ocean and do some serious diving. And so it did this summer!
This is a watch that craves the water. If I didn't know better, I'd swear it has a cranky sound to it when on dry land!
I have had a steel variant in teal for a year now. Tossed the bracelet in a box immedietly because of the endlinks which is a real shame since its perfect otherwise, at least it looks good on mesh too!
great review, can you tell me the strap/band website you mentioned in review tks ed
The strap was from Strapatelier

Should get my ti vintage balck in 1-2 days. SO excited! Haven't used bracets before so it will be an interesting experience. I ordered a BC rubber strap just in case.
"Look at the edges of that bezel. Razor sharp but soft to the touch."
I’m not sure why you guys obsess over male end links. The watch is only 46mm long and the male end links point down by 45 degrees from the watch. With female end links when you look down at the watch on wrist all you see is the side profile of the first female end link. By using male links the bracelet looks far more integrated with the watch. Of course, if the watch in question is longer in lug to lug then you’ve got a point, but at 46mm, I don’t think this is going to look too big unless you’ve got tiny wrists in which case you’d be looking for watches less than 40mm in diameter. FYI I’m 6 3/4 wrist. Nice watch, great review as ever. 👍
Cheers Michael 👍
Thanks again for your review 🤠 love the watch 🙂 thanks
Your's negatives are very good negatives :) They realy doing a wonderful job. It's not a homage but unique and realy screams quality.Love the brushing and polish, looks like it is a mutch mutch
expensive finish and brand name, the movement runs in cosc regulatives. What else to say than perfect watch period!
Call me old school but I prefer the heft of stainless steel. Nice watch though. I already have 4 Zelos so I really enjoy their offerings and if they made the Nova 40mm and above the Espresso Brown would have made it number 5.
Same here man! I would have sprung for one in SS….Ti just doesn’t feel right. I sold a Pelagos not too long ago because it felt “cheap.” 🤷🏻♂️
Great vid about a good looking watch
Great review mate, I just snagged the Burgundy version for something a bit different 😄👍
Love this watch, but agree with your comment about the anti reflection coloring.
Clear AR all the way for me, just makes sense
Hi Peter nice review, that's a classy looking watch at a fair price although I'm not a fan of the limited run sales model ( when they're gone they're gone !) As for the Male end links I'm with you totally I cant understand the logic with that one , cheers.
The male end links are, I think, because it's sort of a vintage-y, skin diver sort of watch and _all_ divers of that style have terribly integrated, male end links. IDK _why_ manufacturers from Seiko to San Martin do that and it just seems to be the style.
Nice review as allways.. and i agree, female endlinks is THE BEST, every day of the week... otherwise very nice watch.
It would be nice if they could change up the end link on the bracelet but definitely not a problem for me with an 8 inch wrist. I guess they feel that whatever they're doing is working and they always sell out so why change it? Anyway, as always, great review and video Peter! Always top notch! Thanks.
Cheers
Nice one! That bezel reminds me of the buzz-saw bezel that got 007 out of a bind in 'Live and Let Die'
On a totally different note; is anyone else getting a steam-punk vibe from this one on that leather strap? Just me?
Wow, that seems to be the exact same clasp as christopher wards, I mean exactly the same. I wonder which swiss company makes them and if I can order one online, that would be great.
Not Swiss, Chinese. Try aliexpress.
@@ulifluhme why do you say that? Have a link?
@@crankCINEMA Why would they be made in Switzerland? Nothing wrong about China.
@@ulifluhme because i own the chris ward one, and its of very high quality and they source a lot of parts from swiss manufacturers.
@@crankCINEMA probably movement parts mostly. Bracelets are rarely from Switzerland, even on Swiss Made watches. And Zelos is Made in China. In Switzerland a bracelet would cost as much as that whole watch.
My blue mop titanium mako is stuck in delayed in Singapore 🤧
This one was delayed as well, thats why it got here late..blame covid
Where is that strap from?

Nice review

The last tab on the rack?
As a reviewer, a watch usually arrives for review before it is released (as many reviewers have already received this watch pre-release)
I got it afterwards, after it was released, thus ..the last cab off the rank 😊
Another good choice for review mate👍 love this watch.
Have been looking at zelos for a while now but at 550 USD a bit rich for me unfortunately.
I'll give you 400 for yours 🤣🤣
😂
If you really want it, just drop me an email Luke, I'll see what I can do for you 👍
@@PeterKotsa sent email 👍
Thank you for the vídeo. I recognize all merits of Zelos but they are too big for me. That’s an issue.
Nice watch, but a bit of a bugger you can't buy it when it suits you.
It's the whole fomo thing that bothers me, i hate artificial scarchety.
I just wish they would do away with the worthless watch wallet that comes with the new releases, I’d rather they still included those great horween leather straps. Minor gripe that means nothing but that wallet is a waste of resources…..gimme a strap I won’t use 🤣
Very true
A strap is definitely more value and usable than packaging 👍
Your hobby is watches yet your wife never comments on your watches 🤔
Yeah I find that strange as well...haha
She has commented three times on my watches in all these years and all three times I was compelled to gift her hose watches..I think she's smarter than me as the last watch she commented on was the Rolex OP I purchased, now its hers...🧐😂
Probably not a good idea to so blatantly criticise 99% of your viewers for not possessing your superior colour appreciation chops. Besides I think we all know most people will indeed see that blue and that a lot of them will like it.
Hi Tom,
it wasn't meant as a criticism, not at all.
Nonetheless, the blue tint that I am talking about is so insignificant, i actually could not capture it on the video.
I am not talking about the blue AR you saw on the sapphire surface, but instead right at the extreme edge of the crystal, it displays an ever so slightest cold blue sparkle, only at certain angles in certain light.,,it is almost undetectable, unless you are looking for it.
No criticism intended, only pointing out what my eyes look for and in 99% of the people this won't even bother them as indeed it shouldn't.
Hope that clears things up (no pun intended)
Cheers 🙏
@@PeterKotsa It sounded like a flex actually (bc that's what it was), I was just being polite.
He's probably not wrong though.
@@anonimushbosh all good 🙏
a nice reminder of your photography background. not a problem from this viewer! thanks for the review.
