I use 5% essential oil and they smell really strong until I put them in the shower. Once I put them in the shower I can barely smell them at all. I've made them with and without melted menthol crystals. I've probably watched every video posted on TH-cam about making shower steamers and everybody's recipe is very similar but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. How do I make a strong smelling shower steamer without dumping in an entire bottle of essential or fragrance oil (not sure that would even work at this point). Anyone have any suggestions? Should I just use the entire bottle and hope for the best??
Most use 10-20% essential oils.
The best scent I get is with letting the essential oils sit in the bicarb and rubbing it in for a while. It’s kind of blooming it.
I use 1 flat tablespoon of mentol crystals and it’s by far the best recipe.

@@lisawalker7923 hi there Lisa. You simply place it on the floor of the shower a little away from the plug and as the water gentle hits them it will release the essential oils . I guess it’s a great option for someone that does not have a bath
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery I like that because I have sinuses. So that would be great
