  • Do your bath bombs fail? Are you sick of being frustrated with them? if so you are in luck as i have included the recipe and all the instructions you need.
    Blooming the bath bomb:
    1 table spoon distilled water
1/4 or less of water soluable dye
    The ingredients:
    1050 grams bicarb
450 grams citric acid (add this last)
    1 table spoon kaoilin clay
    pinch of SLSA
2 heaped tablespoons cream of tarta (this will keep the bath bomb hard)
1 table spoon of mica (optional)
    1/2-1 tablespoon jojoba oil
1 1/2 table spoon sweet almond oil
1 tablespoon polysorbate 80 (i suggest you dont skip this as it really helps bind all the ingredients together as well as assisting with oils mixing)
5-8 sprays of witch hazel - Please dont use water as it will not work as well
NOTE: DO NOT TRY TO ADD EXTRA WATER AND SPRAYS AS TO MUCH WILL ACTIVATE THE BATH BOMB AND IT WILL BECOME A FAIL.
I have many businesses use my recipe and say they love it but as always i suggest you try a small batch in your environment as different areas may change the result, if your home is a little damp then this will effect the bath bombs, try not to make them in cold raining days as that will also be a hard making day.

I just used your recipe yesterday and I LOVE it! I was making Peeps and Round Bath Bombs. I accidentally dropped a Peep back in the mix and was able to just pick him back up and place on my tray!!!! Amazing! I have a couple questions for you..... 1. How many days should I let the Bath Bombs Dry before testing in the tub? 2. When I got too excited... I went ahead and tried a Peep and a Round bath bomb, after 24 hours (I couldn't stand to wait... they are so perfect and smooth). Anyway, both foamed and were so very pretty in the water! But, the Peep floated and the Round did not. Does yours float? I'm perfectly fine if they don't.. I was just curious. Thank you so much for this recipe! 😘😘😘

Hi lovely. I’m so happy. The rounds are the spinners and floaters but the more you pack the heavier they are and harder to float. I let mine dry for 24 hours then pack. Pretty simple really

Hello again as I was watching the video to make my first batch I noticed that you said 2 Heaped teaspoon of cream of tartar but in the recipe it says 2 tablespoons is it teaspoon or tablespoon? I messed up so many batches Im afraid to put too much or too little 😞bath bombs are my nemesis loll thank you so much for sharing this I tried so many recipes with the press I could never get a good result because no recipe I tried ever worked... I will definitly let you posted on the results!

I do have recipes in you tube. It’s tablespoons to keep them hard. Remember it depends on humidity the most. If it’s overcast, raining then don’t make them as it will fail

Hi Rhonda , I have being watching your channel and I love how helpful you are and all your sharing , I made my first bath bombs last week with this recipe but I must be putting to much in the mould because mine sink straight to the bottom of the bath. The mould you have in this video what size it for 150 grams please , just to give me an idea .

    • @NelsonInteriorSoapery
      @NelsonInteriorSoapery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

If you compact it to much then it won’t spin.
I think that mould is 2.2 inch as I got it from the USA .
Try to be a little lighter on packing it.
      Thank you for watching Julie

Your bath bombs turn out so beautiful, what do you set them on for them to dry. Anything I have tried it flattens the bottom of the bomb.
