This is how i replaced the fuel filter on my 2012 Citroen C3 Picasso. It has the 1.6 hdi engine fitted.
This is Part 2 of a 5 Part series on How To Service a Picasso.

Fantastic video. I have to do a full service on the wifes car, so this is perfectly timed. Just done the nearside suspension top mount, now have a drop link going, so going to be an action packed day one day next week to get all that done. Cheers for the brilliant guide.
Hope the vids help and thanks for the positive comment 👍
This Saturday evening at 7:30pm is the air filter, next Saturday the pollen filter and the week after how to reset the service indicator 🥳
Have fun!!
Thanks
- really clear and comprehensive guide as always!
Thanks for the positive feedback 👍
Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😎
Thanks for this very useful video !
Glad it helped 👍

Thanks for watching 👊
Thanks for a great video, will now tackle this task with confidence!! To change the gearbox oil on the Picasso, will it be similar to the change you did on the C3 / same volume? Have 2011 Picasso - Diesel 1.6 hdi.
@@dominicbancroft9827 Sorry for the delay in responding 🤷♂️
The quick answer is… i don’t know 😂
The long answer is… i would guess they’ve probably got the same gearbox. The local parts shop i buy my parts from, tells me the oil required and how much it takes when i order from them.
Sorry for being as clear as mud 😂😂
Sandy.
@@gilberesrepairs Thanks & no worries 🤣. What are you using to take your footage ?
@@dominicbancroft9827 I’m just using my iPhone 11
I’ve accumulated lots of different mounts and tripods to try and get good angles, but it can be difficult because cars tend to be crammed in 🙄 I’ve also picked up various lights as well, to try and get the footage half ok.
I only have a cheapy china special mic for my intro’s and outro’s, the actual bulk of the video is just from my phone mic. It’s certainly been a steep learning curve for me 😂
Sandy.
@@gilberesrepairs Well your results are amazing, thanks for your time 👍
@@dominicbancroft9827 Thanks 👊
96 pumps is nothing!! me, my grandfather, and father were there from 9am the one Sunday morning pumping about £10 of petrol out of my mothers car after my father filled it up with petrol. and just about finished enough by 1pm. my thumbs were sore for weeks afterwards, and that was a 16 year old. my father never made that mistake again thank goodness, I don't think I could have done that many pumps at my age now, and my grandfather was around my age at the time it happened maybe a couple of years difference.
great info and video, as was wondering where the fuel filter was for my C3 Pic. as been a while since last done any car maintenance myself.
Haha, so what you’re saying is that i’m a lightweight with my 96 pumps 😂😂
Enjoyed reading your story 👍 Probably the best comment I’ve read on my channel.

Thank you ;perfect. I have picasso c3 1.2 petrol 2016 does is contain petrol filter? Coz when i went to buy filters to change i have been told that this model doesn't have? Is that correct?
Thanks for the positive comment 🙏
My sister in law has the 1.2 petrol C3 and it doesn’t have a fuel filter, they are only fitted to the diesel versions 👍
I had a fuel filter housing diaphragm go on me ages ago, I could not find the housing anywhere, apart from eBay cheap Chinese one, not a good design in my opinion, better with the good old fashion primer bulb is better, that white mangle up connector tang is quite normal never seen one in good condition, cheers for the video again
Yep, a priming bulb would be easier on my thumbs 😂
I was surprised the white latched connector still worked 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
