Hi Jon , sorry for the delay. I'm not a fan of hammock camping, never tried it in fact , , but I can understand why some people like it , if sleeping on the ground is an issue for a good sleep . I like that shot you took around 8:30 , the tree with the beautiful clear sky . That music was nice to accompany the morning wake up of Mr sleeping beauty 😂. Never tought of putting a grill over my Trangia set , thanks for the idea , it can accomodate many kinds of pots. Early spring is a good season for camping , not to hot for hiking and no bugs . Thank's for the video, I can see the efforts put in the editing 👌👍
No worries my friend! Hammocks really are a game changer, I always feel so refreshed after a night in one, even more so than in my own bed! That's rarely the case when sleeping on the ground, though I still enjoy it most of the time. Glad you liked the music, it's a norwegian piece and a favourite of mine😊 I felt pretty clever when I realised how well the trangia and grill fit, makes it even more versatile. And yes, spring really is wonderful for camping, I spent a lot of nights out last year, hope I will this year too. Especially before the bugs come in, don't miss those at all hahah. Thank you for your comment, it is as always greatly appreciated🙌
It was pretty warm at day really, closer to freezing at night, but not too bad. With my 0°F bag and pad it was no trouble, especially with the warm water bottle in the bag.😊
Thank you for watching! I tried a lot of new editing techniques this time, hope you guys like it. Have you been out camping yet this year?
Keeping your video for tonight , looking forward to it 🤗
An idyllic setting for a hammock camp Jon! Your socks seemed to have a life of their own! Lol! Loved your log review too😉👍👍
