The Deus 2 sounds like an improvement over the original XP Deus but from the TH-cam video I have seen it requires manually switching the frequency. It does seem to have some depth capability. But it's also about 2 1/2 times the price of the legend.

great hunt and review mate. the only think I can see wrong with it is the buttons are just black. would be nice if you could see an LED light shinning through a little bit. maybe it does have or will have this function for when it starts to get dark. sound nice and quiet even when maxed out. you lucky boy. watch your subs sore past 10k now 👍👍👍
Well done on the 1st, great looking machine, pleased the carbon Shaft is now standard. Tones sounded great and the buttons seem to be a joy to work with. Maybe in the near future you could test/plant a gold ring so we can get the beach tones for rings ect. Great start for what appears to be a great machine.
Would have preferred to see a bit more of the actual detector and what it's displaying on each signal than so much time on your finds. The headphones don't let us hear the tones or pinpointer, better for us if you didn't use them as its good to hear it working. Good enough video to let us see how good it is. Cheers
Great video, great review and awesome finds, as a simplex user I very much like the sound of softer buttons! I avoid pin pointing to save my thumb at the moment!

I’ve noticed that in al the vids so far, the detectorist seem to be swinging quite fast. When i hunt, i go slow and over lap. 1 I don’t want to miss any ground, 2 im older and less strain on my joints plus it reduces fatigue. Does slowing down effect the legend in any way like loss of depth. I certainly hope it doesn’t and that the legend works just as well swinging fast or slow. Appreciate any feed back from you, who actually tested the machine.

lt's 2022 and this is a new, top-of-the-range detector and it still needs 'ground balancing! By the time it's taken to get that pinpointer out and switch it on, you could have found the object with your fingers and saved yourself approx. £100.
Lol. 2022 in the movie BladeRunner director Ridley Scott predicted 2019' Cars would hover or fly. Metal detector technology is still 10 full years behind where it should be. We are still digging basically the same amount of trash Today as we did 50 years ago. All this NEW tech costing $$$$ and we still dig up aluminum bottle caps and pull tabs??
Came in low with a number and tone I wouldn’t normally dig, but as always with a new detector you dig it all at first. I could easily have walked away from it, it’s taught me a lesson
The ferrite indicator seems like a gimick as you would surely pick this up with tones too so the indicator seems like this is aimed at newbies to the hobby ? Would have liked to see the indicator go off and the tones on ferrous materials. Im sure on the beach you would have picked alot up and wish you would have showed the tones and the indicator on them. Great video none the less you are a likeable fellow :)

Nope as I said on Facebook, I’ve swung it fast and slow and it’s been spot on, dropping the recovery speed and swinging slow will get you super deep

Yes 100%. first few tests show it deeper than the Apex so I might just put it against the Nox

That’s the phone mast on the flats near the beach, it plays havoc with all the detectors I’ve used there
