About me…. I’m normally hitting the parks or the beach with one of the many detectors I use for metal detecting the beach and fields. Metal Detecting can be fun and at the same time a nightmare due to the way the beach is always shifting, but if you hit it on a good day... BOOM! could be GOLD could be SILVER! Incredible. You can use these videos as a kind of online education but they’re really not! Oh and make sure you’re detecting is legal.

Metal Detecting is a good way of chilling out, its a good bit of therapy, fresh air, long walks. Its also a bit like those unboxing videos you see on youtube because even though you have an idea of what's buried below your feel you're never really sure. I've been Detecting with Deep Digger Dan during his digging the coast 365, that was fun. I used his XP Deus... Very light. I started out using the Garrett Ace 250 and then added a Nel Tornado coil. After that I started using a Nokta Makro Kruzer and some how managed to find so much more on land I thought had been detected to death. Silver coins, WWII badges and bullets and down the beach I've even found GOLD and Silver Rings. In my latest video I've finally found a Roman Coin and A Saxon Strap End. I've just joined the Minelab club, went with a Vanquish. Immediately noticable is how deep they pick up any target, I'm not used to digging beyond 6 inches with my Simplex.

Arron :) Good job. Sounds like a busy beach for this fine hunt. I have learnt during the late spring and summer months sand and mud builds up overtime on my local beach, burying the semi-recent drops and older drops. Only once the autumn/winter storms come along and washes it all away that those drops become detectable. Looking forward to November.

I have a nox 800 whited tdi,ctx 3030 and I have to say that my simplex is not out of place within my detectors collection it’s pretty aswsome,goes out more times than any great video again

There are two Brunel £2 coins 1 is his portrait & other his arches. Sadly both are common. Keep on searching. I thought the ring was going to be the pin out if a hand grenade 🤔🤔🤭🤭

Hey Aaron, just found your videos + already subscribed. I haven't done any beach detecting but would love to. I currently use a Euroace, which is good enough for me atm. On a friend's land, my first ever find was....a 1974......2p! Yay! Atm I'm in Kenya and looking around to see whete i can detect. All the best!

It’ll be fine for dry sand or shingle but no good for wet sand, but you could do some good coin shooting

I'm yet to have the 2p curse, so far I've found most modern coins (UK) missing the 2p and 2 pound coin from my collection, when I get my money 2p I'll be sure to say "bugger"
Great video as per usual, great finds but a lot of hard digging, been watching your videos over the last few years with different metal detectors, and like this latest video you are using the nox 800, and you have been for a while, I just got a nox 800 myself lately, and using it on the beach, I use beach 2, sen 20,recovery speed 2 and so on, find a lot of trash but a few coins, could you tell please what settings you use both dry and wet please, from Paraic in the West of Ireland, cheers mate, keep up the good work and more videos.
I've found some wonderful things over the years searching parks, farmhouses, etc., but I can spend hours from the dry sand to the wet shoreline at the beach, and I'm lucky if I find a couple quarters and a few modern cents. I'm finding pull tabs, so obviously I'm searching within the gold ring range, but I'm starting to feel like the state is quietly bringing in tons of fresh sand. For example, I was out last night with my Simplex+ and I wasn't even finding much trash, but when I would dig a trash target, especially pop cans and a few bottle caps, they were very deep, with the cans being about a foot deep! Is it a common practice for state parks to bring in fresh sand in the U.S. and abroad? Next time I'm going waist deep with my long scoop.
I see you choose not to use a pin pointer like most, instead relying on your detector. Is there a reason you choose to work that way ?
Hi Arron, an enigma for you; here in North Essex I find almost Zero on the flat wet sand. How come the coins get there in your neck of the woods.

Can someone explain do you get different sounds for different metals? Ie you know from the sound if it's detected gold, plus I collect 50ps and £2 coins hang onto the £2s you got worth more than face value
Yes different metals have different tones, some are very similar but after you learn a detector you get to know what you’re listening for

Are you filling your holes? Yes its a beach and they will refill themselves but with a couple of inches of water over them they could twist an ankle or break a horse's leg if in the unlikely even one put its foot in it. Wish i had the transport to get to the coast now my nox needs a taste of saltwater
