Let's make this too noisy to brush under the carpet. Fortunately, we're in an election year guys : ) The ONLY time when expressing your displeasure to an MP or Councillor actually gets a response. Don't waste this fine opportunity to make a change.

A couple of further observations. The Sgt trying to justify his stance by say about all the hard work he has been doing re the bikes, was trying to get some brownie points with that comment. And later when he was groveling, he admitted to being on the double yellow lines even though AB had not mentioned that. When will they ever learn? The gift that keeps on giving.

Complaints against police should be Juried. Just bring in a jury and run cases past them one by one to decide the relevant actions.... INCLUDING a decision on eligibility for pay and pensions for the most serious abuses. Without that, everything just gets brushed under the carpet and our streets get a little less safe.
Clean the force up, because it's increasingly becoming a national f***ing embarassment. I feel truly sorry for the good lads and lasses who take their oath of office seriously, and see it as both their privilege and duty to serve a protect the public.

To be fair, it didn't sound like he lied, it sounded like he shared what he had found concerning and they happily ran with what he'd said as justification to misuse their powers, regardless of it not being an offence.
He said he saw AB "over there" gesticulating toward the council office, he said AB followed him towards the toilet, he said he "questioned" AB on what he was doing...........and none of those things were offences.......so it was incumbent on the officers to hear these claims that did not highlight a single offence, advise the council employee nothing unlawful had taken place and moved on. They wanted to find some reason to try to use their powers against him and heard what they wanted to hear.
The council guy was an asshole, but the issue was they used the offerings of an asshole as justification to abuse their authority.

@@DBiggaFigga666 Nah, that guy came in even insulting AB from the get go. Looks like he felt he could be part of the gang himself. Notice how he claimed that AB went into a private area, which is not true. It wasn't until AB said he had everything recording and that he was purposely lying, that the traffic ward changed his account and admitted AB was in a public area. He clearly wanted AB to get in trouble and didn't hesitate on lying about stuff that would secure AB getting in that trouble.
