THANKS!!! i was using mine since nearly 4 months, and it was never as flat as it is right now after doing those steps :D it had those curves since i got it.
more people need to see this my mousepad has been super lifted and wavy for months and this completely solved my issue thank you so much for this video
Finally I found the solution for my problem after almost 1 month. I believe the manufacturers sent the mousepad with a bit more lenght that it really needs just in case for it to be possible of being stretched so I also cut a little piece of it but I gonna store that piece if needed. Thank you very much for this video. It was really stressful for me knowing that a barely new mousepad could have one stupid problem like that one. God bless you.
I recently bought a Belle Dephine Edition RGB mousepad from Ghostkeyboards and it had the wrinkle problem. Your method has worked perfectly for me! Thank you very much from Mexico
Thank you very much. I was a little disappointed at first, but after a little more effort, it worked perfectly. It took about 20 to 30 minutes. Thank you again. It really worked.
This is such a hassle. Bought one from Steelseries yesterday, it was pretty much perfect, except few places and I made it 100 times worse trying to fix it. So yea, had to follow your guide. The tube wasn't even connected on one of the sides! In the end, I cut around 5 cm of it! Way better than it was when I first got it, but still not ideal. But whatever, it's good enough. I probably wouldn't have gotten it, if I knew what pain it is to own one lol. But it looks nice and syncs with my other devices. Thank you!
I usually don’t come back to videos and comment but ty my guy! I have the GameStop RGB XL mouse pad and I was confused on where the screws were until I watched. I had to completely tear the sticker off and couldn’t reuse it. That’s alright though. Anyways, I just kept pushing the wire like you said and at first it wasn’t working but I figured out how to push it though the thread and it’s flat now. The corners were kind of a B though, ngl. Thanks bro bro!
Thanks! I used a pair of pliers and pulled the plastic, so the straightening part took only 20-30 seconds. Total time dismantling + mounting back together: 3 minutes.
Hello this really helped me after I took out my 3 year old mousepad which I shelved cuz it was just too curled. After doing this its sits flush on the desk now. Thank you!
I had the same issue with my corsair mousepad, I just trimmed about a 16th of an inch of the end and pulled it a bit until it was flat. The sticker peeled off easily and was able to open it up with my leatherman and trim it up witht he scissors on it. I spent like 5 minutes on it and done.
Won't work with mine there aren't any screws I tried to open it up but I only damaged the plastic I am just going to buy a new one... I don't know how it even wrinkled.....
Critical mission failure. Was going slow and felt like I was making progress just to end up moving the plastic so far back it pulled out of its threads and went around the corner by about 3 inches. Guess mine was very kinked.
This just keeps happening with these crappy led / stitched optical cable pads. Finally I just pulled the optical cable out of the stitching and removed the control unit. Now I have a beautiful flat mousepad, minus the cheapo inconsistent lighting. Nothing of value was lost!
As far as i know, may 2 reasons why mahina yung lights: 1) hindi naka dikit sa light yung tube properly 2) old mousepads, yung sa loob ng tube ay hindi na clear so hindi na kaya ng light mag flow properly through the tube. Sakin, yung 2nd reason kasi 5 years na mousepad ko haha.
@@EdVentures94 ginawa ko tutorial tinanggal screws, and mahina n nga tlga? ung ilaw nya andun lng sa 1-2inch from the light source..the rest wala ng ilaw so maayos p kaya un?
@@MrHalfbakedSnail ay watch this I cut the threading for the mousepad it’s fine now all u gotta do is take out the control box and use knife and carefully cut the threading that’s holding the led strip around mousepad
welp, i tried your method but it ended up bending it even more :( will try to iron it and then check if it ends up fixing it, otherwise i guess ill return the mousepad and get a new one

Literally just tried it ...worked so great lol my OCD was killing me ..I almost got rid of my new mouspad because of it
Same, BUT I CANT FIX IT
@@user-eb2zt6zz5q takes some patience but it worked
Worked really, thank you, from wavy to flat in about 15-20mins for me. I cut about 2-3mm on each side

Ja z mojej podkładki wyciągnołem 11 cm dzięki tobie wreszcie mam ładną i prostą podkładkę
Thank you it worked =) There was almost 2" of extra plastic in there!! Took some patience, but its flat now =]
Bro great video! Earned a subscriber 👊
Thanks bro 😎 I got it to look almost perfect
it worked but after a few months the light starts fading, i think the plastic somehow moved lol
Worked like a charm. Thanks dude!
Wow thank you. You helping me :)
thank u so much man it took me about 30 min but the result is awesome
I just took off the led strip, since I don't use it anyways and now its flat so I am happy :)

He's 100% on the money, the glow tube is too long it must be cut, that's the problem with all the warped rgb pads.
Omg i love you dude
U saved me thank you so much
works perfectly, thanks!
It works! Thanks!
Thx! Its really works!

Yea nah this just made it worse 💀
mine doesnt have a sticker on the bottom of the case and there are no screws its just on there
worked really well. ty man

Is that an huper x auqa keyboard?
I tried large objects and I went to try this but mine is clipped and not screwed so I can't unclip it
i have a gms wt5 mouse pad and my mouse not working on this mousepad any tip? its work in other mousepads
my mouse pad lights not spreading to the plastic line. It spreads only to the starting position of both sides. can I fix that?
The plastic isnt touching the LED. You have to move it closer
thanks for the video, but i lost my patience and just took out the whole wire
Work 100% but be careful; you can break the RGB if you don't understand how to plug it.
it really works very well..thank you so much :)
Thanks bro literally made mine worse, took nearly an hour getting no progress and just had to throw it out instead.
worked really well
I can't find screws on my pad
nvm found it, was covered by a sticker. was able to fix mine quick thanks
tx you saved my mause pad
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
does it actually work
Yes some companies don’t really care and don’t measure the tube so u gotta manually cut some off and fix it
Thanks!!!
wow thanks so much

This trick works but i some mousepads cant be u scrub
i wold not try this
...the led tube is too short..
DO NOT DO THIS! THIS IS STRETCH AND RUIN YOUR MOUSE PAD! USELESS VIDEO AND DID NOT HELP!
If you don't care about the lights then you can just cut them with scissors and then it will be flat
why buy a rgb mouse pad if u dont want the rgb
hahaha
I can't find the screws
Even though I took of the sticker
