Super! I'll make mine longer use tiny needle too! It is close to or simular effects to the Dowton Abbey style scarf! If longer. They had and have all kinds of knits on the show. Thanks
Thank you so much for you tutorials and for the discount on Knitcrate orders, just ordered two hanks, using the discount made shipping free and gave me an extra $6.00 off the wool. Again thank you!
just placed my very first Knitcrate order and thank you for the discount. Love this scarf I'm going start on it now with some yarn in my stash I love the design
I know you posted this more than a year ago, but I just found it. This is great as I’ve just started getting Knitcrate boxes. I get the sock box so I only get one skein at a time, and it is kind of fluorescent green for the first one. Something bright for the winter months will be fantastic.

@@JoannesWeb Thank you for answering! I am currently making this with a 100 gr ball of yarn and it looks like I will have more than enough. Thank you, the pattern is beautiful.

I wish you would freeze frame the pictures you took at the end of the video so we could see the end results. The thumb nail doesn't show all the beauty of your work, it's too small.
I love this idea & the lovely lace pattern for it but I don't understand that little job that juts out at the end...it's not tapered smoothly. Thank you :)
I've only been knitting a few years & a very slow learner & was thinking it was probably just me....as in 'what do I know'? Well I guess I know a little haha... thanx for the confirmation :)
Muchas gracias.
Love this design. Thank you. UK

Love this pattern! Out of a beginners curiosity, is there an easy way to make the ends more of a point?
Thanks for sharing any thoughts!
They are pretty pointy but here is another one:

Can you recommend a good digital yarn scale please?
I use a kitchen scale. I gutted from amazon. It says GRATERGOODS.COM
@@JoannesWeb Thanks again ladies!!

Under the video, click on "show more".
Can I use a size 8 circular needle on this scarf
You can use any needles you wish. It's good to use close to what the yarn calls for. A DK yarn is good for size 8 US needles.
This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing! Just one question, how many grams were used for the final project? Thank you so much,
Very little, about 50 grams. Get 100 grams to make sure. I don't have it any longer. Thanks!
@@JoannesWeb Thank you for answering! I am currently making this with a 100 gr ball of yarn and it looks like I will have more than enough. Thank you, the pattern is beautiful.
I just finished it and I only used 50 gr, and after blocking it, it stretched out so it is the perfect size. Thank you so much!
I remember my aunts in the fifties, folding a handkerchief this way before their dates to hide the neck marks when they got home lol
Amazing, the things we remember. How neat!
😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
Thanks me Joann a great beginner project
If I use a dk yarn, what size needle should I use? I noticed you went up 6 needle sizes for sock weight.
I used #7US needles. If it's dk yarn, a #8 would be good.
@@JoannesWeb Thank you 😊
Sorry, I can't see the whole scarf in this video. Are both ends of the same shape? Can I have the measurements, width and length?

Hola Victoria. Se montan 40 puntos e inmediatamente se comienza con la puntada para las orillas. Por favor vea como se hace desde el minuto # 2:45 ,

hi from turkey 35inches =90 cm approx. from long side? or short side ?thks
Both sides are the same. So it doesn't matter. It also ends in an angle on the other side.
