@stephenogrady7583 As a Kiwi in the US, I know a cruise will only give a little taste of New Zealand. You and your wife really need to spend three to four weeks in New Zealand touring around.
@ Our plan exactly. Two weeks minimum…one for the cruise, the other to see more. But more than likely, we would plan for 3+ weeks. We would like to see both North and South islands in New Zealand, as our understanding is they are both very different terrain.
We really do love the views you two have from your porch. One of these days we'll make it to New Zealand and take in the beauty of your country. And yes Joelle, we always know when Mike is BS'ing! :) Keep on smiling, it's contagious!

Thank you Joelle and Mike. Last time my wife and I were in NZ, we drove from Waihi, around the Peninsula and back to Waihi. What an epic drive and amazing views. We stopped at a Whangamata bar and had a burger for lunch. I guess, now, we'll have to visit again to explore the island by kayak. And the bush is my happy place too.😂
You would see my Ranger, it is built for work, with a snowplow attachment and sand spreader. in summer it pulls a compressor and drill to blast rock. There should be a lot of rubber so it will be comfortable.

I am an avid fan of Colin McRae @ParlayRevival who showed us the beautiful coast of New Zealand. I hope you will do more trips like this to show us more of your beautiful country. Maybe camping with the boys for some inland adventures?
Very nice. A lot of it looks very similar to where I am in Australia NSW Mid North Coast. When my new Ute arrives early next year, me and my wife will take the kayaks out again and do some paddling/fishing. Looks like you had a lot of fun.

wow fantastic NZ has some beautiful scenery and place,s also last time i was there in Whangamatā was there was in 1971 as we took a launch from Auckland to Tauranga as the launch helped start mayor island deep sea fishing

If you come to NZ to visit, Coromamdel (where they live) Bay of Islands, The Mount and Queenstown are your go to places. Everywhere else isn't worth visiting. Perhaps Rotorua just to see geothermal but don't stay overnight.
Your home is absolutely beautiful. The view is incredible. I think your other home had a bigger kitchen. This kitchen is kind of tiny. But the view makes it okay, LOL. Almost 1million subscribers.
