Hi, i have some new plant ideas for the better expansion mod for world 7 and also try to tell samen these plant ideas if you can so let's go:
So the plants are: 7-1: Fire peashooter (Does the double damage of the normal peashooter) and it costs about 175 and it has the same feauture as pepper pult as well, and also it has an upgrade (plasma pea) which samen mentioned and it is like a gatling pea but warms up the plants near it and does the triple damage of a peashooter! Making it cost 275 sun at least. Also in 7-2: You get the explode-o-nut which is a plant in wallnut bowling in level 1-5 and when the zombies finish eating it, it explodes in a 3x3 area like a cherry bomb,then we reach level 7-3 you get: Bonk choy and you might know what he does so i will not mention what he does but i will say his cost anyway and it's 150 then in level 7-4 you finally get thyme warp which is used when zombies are near to your house then use it and it brings back zombies back to the beginning but it heals the zombies within bringing zombies to the beginning and it costs only 100 sun but very slow recharge! Also in 7-5 we get column like you see e'm minigame or something like that then in 7-6 you get chili pepper which is from pvz 2 and you put him in the video in the minigame so be sure to tell samen to put it in 7-6 as well :) also his cost must be 175 then in level 7-7 you get snap dragon which is kinda like threepeater but it has a short range but however it does double the damage and it costs only 200 sun and it's kinda aoe! And also it has an upgrade and it's cold snap dragon which costs in the shop about 7500$ money and costs about 225 sun and it slows down zombies! Also you get in 7-8 goldbloom which gives you many sun and it must cost 50 sun in your mod and very slow recharge (because it's very busted because it gives so much sun about like 300) also it costs about 0 sun in pvz 2 so it should be 50 sun in samen's mod so it doesn't become so overpowered :) And finally in 7-9 you get bowling bulb which costs 250 sun and it has 3 bulbs or things like that and it does like walnuts in walnut bowling and it has like a 15 second cooldown to recharge a new bulb and also does heavy damage!
Also tell samen to decrease doom shroom's cost to 200 sun because it is so much expensive because it costs 275 sun.
And also tell him to do some bug fixes and make the game as much balanced as possible!

Seeing a new plant being unlocked after 5-10 instead of a bag of coins was incredibly satisfying. I REALLY love how you guys went out of your way to make new plants, new zombies, and a new gimmick for your world and decided not to change many things with the game, because it feels so much more like an expansion that way. And the new textures? Chefs kiss. If you guys make more for this mod, I'll be really excited to see it!

it feels so much like an actual part of the game, with the music, plants, zombies, and notes from zombies as well as dave dialogue. if you told someone who hadnt played the game in a few years that this was the current game, good chance they would belive it

World 7 should be Snow version of pool day, with the pool frozen. It should be melt able by using fire plants. In the frozen pool lane you won't need lilypads but pots and your plants will die after certain time due to the cold. The melted ice would turn into water and any plants on top should fall in the pool.
It would also make sense to have chilly pepper and fire pea be unlocked here
But i hope the next update of world 7 would not in crazy dave house but in the park i hope:)

I was thinking World 7 should be a Sewer since the zombies have tried front, back and top it makes sense that they would try from below next. 4 water lanes with 2 flat pot lanes in the middle.

Holy shit. This might be THE premier PvZ mod. I've never modded the game before and so have no idea how to go about it, but this just might become something essential I can't play without. that's what I'm saying as well! Stone nut and that weird lillypad wave thrasher would also be interesting (the king flower that let you put two plants on one tile would be absolutely amazing to see but I doubt it'd be realistically pheasable to code/mod into the game)

I thought the Expansion mod was good, but this Maaaaaaan, imma take a look at it on my own playthrough when the mod comes out, you and your team really conquered the mountains with this one beeing cooked for some time! Absolutely amazing mod! When I first heard of the Blood Moon gimmick I honestly misheard it as Bad Moon like Bad Moon Rising from PVZ Heroes. Imagine if it was Bad Moon Rising and it turns all basic Zombies into stronger Zombies like Footballs or Gargantuars 💀
Bro really went "man what if i made one of the best pvz1 mods ever made" and actually managed to do that lol.
Can't wait for the release, i'm so glad hard mode is optional i'm tired of playing hard difficulty mods just to experience new content.
I have a few questions about this mod actually or a few ideas.
1. What about the 4 plants, sprout, reversed repeater, giant wall nut, and explode o nut?
- My ideas for this. Sprout does nothing. Lol. No seriously. But in the game's code it works quite well to stall and take damage from peashooter zombies. Giant Wall Nut can be a better version of wall nut at around 75 sun, however while having same hp as tall nut, it does not act like tall nut, and it takes up two tiles. For reversed repeater, basically a more better version of split pea, and the idea was to nerf its sun cost as it makes it 200 in the game like repeater. And explode o nut, well yknow.
2. Beta Plants? Beta Zombies? I'm referencing stuff from Bloom and Doom, the beta version that came out years ago.
- Will we get those plants and zombies?
3. If this is TRULY TRULY better than expansion, don't forget the minigames. Now one thing expansion didn't do was add more vasebreaker and izombie. I actually thought of an idea for vasebreaker zombotany too.

I know some people have said that you should use original plants, but honestly I love the idea of you backporting plants from future installments into PvZ1. It gives a sense of familiarity and that familiarity helps making everything feel like they actually belong to the game.
Can't wait for the thing to be out, love the burn-able iceball from the verticle Jalapeno thingy tho :D

I think the doom shroom balance shouldnt of happened since its gonna feel weird to most players when literally everything is the same except doom shroom and also plant balance isnt really important in pvz since every game is heavily imbalanced since no one uses certain plants unless their forced to such as cactus so if your gonna balance plants you should change all of them instead of just one

one thing tho is i feel like chilly pepper's aoe should be a column or two instead of a row like in pvz2 if it does get added in my opinion
it'd have to compete with the original jalapeno and at the same sun cost, i dont think being being able to only freeze for half the damage isn't a good tradeoff when jalapeno would be able to insta kill most of the zombies instead, unless im missing something

By far the biggest PvZ 1 Mod ever, new plants and even a second page opens up a lot of possibilities of some fanmade plants or plants from different games to be added (I'm coping for Asparagus from PvZ Adventure :) ). Sure it needs some balancing but considering how big the mod is and how much the content is in this mod, I don't mind the balancing to be honest. It also opens up possibilities for adventure mode as well, I hope future worlds can have hybrid stages, or stages like Unsodded or from PvZ JTTW.
You can bring unused Plants in this Mode,Like Ice Cabbage Pult(or do that as an upgrade)

An interesting idea that I would propose if you plan to add a 7/8 world. The zombies have tried the entrance, the back, and even the roof, so why not *under* the house? Underground/basement levels could bring lots of ideas. Perhaps the only difficulty would be to differentiate day and night since I don't see how sunlight would have a big impact during the day.

I see this being a great mod! With stuff like fun minigames, added stuff from ports, and maybe pvz 2 stuff from the Chinese and World Wide, like plants. If possible, maybe for a big update, you can have a plant merger. If possible, of course. Since crazy Dave has a robot in 2 and 3, it could be something like that.
It would be nice to imagine the inside of Crazy Dave's house from the inside and use it as a level idea
thank you for making hard mode not just be stronger enemies. A vast amount of strategy games will have a hard mode which just makes all the enemy stats go up, rather than making a more visible change like enemy quantity, or better/varying strategy. Sometimes I get it, maybe enemies grant some kind of loot when you defeat them, and so you don't want the player getting too strong when it's supposed to be harder, and making harder difficulties have harder strategies can be a daunting task to program. But often there's no such excuse, and when that happens, I hate it. Thanks for not being that.

I was hoping for a Cactus buff or a Blover nerf since Blover deals with all balloon zombies, so the Cactus becomes useless
Also sea-starfruit makes the regular one basically useless. I think it could be an upgrade that transforms starfruit on a lily pad into a sea starfruit
I also think ice and fire interactions are cool, but those are simply everywhere. There needs to be more unique elements, status effects and interactions between them. The mod is still epic as it is though

Holy shiiiiit! This looks awesome! If possible, I would loooove to see stuff like the unused Dog Walking Zombie, Dog Zombie, and Propeller Zombie be brought back into the game, along with the unused plants and zombies from concept art and betas of the first game. Hell, even stuff from other versions like the Trash Can Zombie, Wraith Zombie, and Assassin Zombie too. Not to mention the fake PVZ 2 leak stuff and hell, even some early Plants vs. Zombies Character Creator Wiki stuff if you can get like an archive of that. No need to add them if you don't want to do that, just some suggestions for additions.
I'm just hoping that the difficulty from the original Expanded mod is only optional and not the default, because I genuinely couldn't even get past night. Lol
This looks really cool so far. My only nitpick is that you didn't seem to have added back in some GOTY features like Zombatar and further expanding on those, but other than that this looks clean. I always like the idea of incorporating things from other versions of the game or other games in the series into mods as if they've always been in PVZ1, I just think they're neat. Being able to skip and/or select levels should save a lot of headaches too.

8:10 I totally don't get why people want Blood Moon over Snow... like, imo, Snow would more fit in Adventure Mode, while Blood Moon more fit to mini-game or something.

I like the idea of Lillypad producing water when not sitting on water to keep it relevant past the pool levels, although might make Cattail hard to code

I like everything love it good good but damn the missed opportunity of tangle kelp stunning them instead of sinking them into the roof
I love the idea of the Gladiantuar! However, for the power he is ment to have, a magnetshroom to be able to counter almost all his design and can take other metalic items after is very strong imo. I feel it should be because of the size of the gladiator helmet it should take out the magnetshroom and make it a one time use against the Gladiantuar. Almost like an instant kill plant but as an instant suppor plant instead. This way, it still counters the Gladiantuar but means thats it and can't steal from zombies after aswell. Either way, it's an amazing mod for the game!!
It would be really cool to see a mini game mode called "dark moon" or something which has you use any plants that can clear out fog, and see the new enemy to fend off ghosts!

I love how Gladiantuar just crushes the LAWN MOVER like NOTHING happened.
The dynamic gameplay of Plants vs Zombies keeps me engaged for hours on end.

Yes, finally an epic mod like this that properly implements every part of world 6, even down to the new plants!
It also doesn't make annoying plant rebalancing! Yeah I know the game is way too easy, but I want to be able to apply my already existing knowledge and strategies on the game, with the only changes being new content.
Gonna have to lower the doom-shroom cost manually though.

Idk if you have watched the fake pvz2 trailer back in 2011, but water pot was in there, and it's called flower basin, so every time I see this thing I call it flower basin (and to some extent pepper pult too, but that's another melon pult upgrade called summer melon)
