Felwood is SUCH a farm hotspot. Furbolgs for rep, satyrs for felcloth, essence of water AND living essence. I love the place
Felwood was also a highly contested area before lichking. there was always a horde-alliance fight going on. If the alliance started a fight, we had it figured out how long we had until horde showed up, and either had more alliance waiting near flight points, or someone was watching the clock and we all left 30 seconds before the horde got there from the nearest city

If you look at auction house lists, if your name starts with A your name will be first in the list, its so obvious but most people dont see it. This alone can make you sell or not, when you get exalted with timbetwolf you can loot the chests in Ashara without killing the mobs, and easier finding mine and herb nods as they are mostly in the same spots.

Listen up guys, all these farming spots are totally screwed and take private servers as an example what a good farming spot is and what not. Everything comes down to supply and demand, and even though the supply for many things is quite high right now, the demand just isnt there yet (Raidpots, Elixiers, Enchanting Materials & much more).
Currently the most lucrative way of making gold is by far devilsaur skinning and 300 Tribal Leatherworking.
With many people checking BIS Lists, this set is undisputed as the nr.1 PRE-BIS Set for all Melees and Hunters and goes between 60-80g Gloves to 150-200g Pants.
I've accumulated with almost no effort just farming here and there (around 1 set each farm) around 2000 gold in 1,5 weeks. The demand is extremely high, because nowadays everyone checks BIS Lists and is so stubborn to get these. Additionally Warriors and Rogues are both in the TOP 3 most played classes in Classic.
Another possible farming method is essence farming (not fire) for the Robe of the Archmage. With mages insane boost in popularity and overpowered-ness in Classic WoW due to 1.12 itemization, any mage wants to get their hands on these.

Goodluck hunting for Devilsuars. Literally everyone doing it plus the other faction.
While true, most servers have already established mafias with guild groups of 3-5 people roaming un'goro to pvp or camp devilsaur spots. Even if you run into allied players they will follow you, wait until you kill the devilsaur, then spam click the corpse so they can skin as soon as you loot it giving you zero chance to skin it yourself.
Uncontested this might be tons of gold per hour; but it can also be close to 0g/hr if there's too much activity. You'd be far better off getting 20-40g/hr doing solo mara princess runs than spending 2-4 hours PVPing while looking for devilsaurs or trying to tag toxic horrors. Even the high pop servers like Whitemane are down to 1-2 layers and have a huge asian population who play late into American time-zones.
This sort of gold method was only available the first week for the players who hit level 60 far ahead of the pack. Now you have to be a lot more crafty as the zerg of casuals still playing start breaking through level 40+. Generally people not super interested in being bis or going into molten core anyway.
All the gameplay in this video is classic, not private servers.

@@Mekose This is partially true and heavily depends on your server, i'd never recommend farming devilsaur on prime times in the first place. Another helpful method is knowing the spawn & travel locations of devilsaurs. Each Devilsaur has a fixed Spawn position and a fixed travel route with 6 devilsaurs in total with estimated respawn times from 11 to 17 minutes depending on the spawn location.

Love how all these money making videos portray their methods as such high quality gold farming, when in reality if a person goes to check it out, the results are actually very much less than what these videos advertise.

Maybe look into it first before you insult someone? In fact, don't insult people, just give your opinion and have a conversation about it, it's far more civil and you'll be surprised at the friends made in doing so. I would have gladly listened to your opinions had you not been an ass about it.

For Essence of Fire, you have a much, MUCH cheaper, less risky method: FISHING! : Go to Searing Gorge, go ALL THE WAY DOWN into the hole with dark iron dwarves, get to the spot where you see the lava, and just fish there. Yes, it's THAT simple. Drop rate is arguable, but you won't be spending anything other than your time. If you're at 300 fishing, not even a bauble. Although getting those +100 fishing lures from engineers are dirt cheap so you might do just that anyway.
Speaking of fishing, you can get Essence of Water in coasts of Azshara. "School of Pure Water" is an Azshara-only spawn that lets you loot 2-4 Essence of Water per school. This is a better known spot than Searing Gorge Essence of Fire spot, but it's still mostly risk free because of how deserted Azshara shores are.
Getting 300 fishing is very boring I agree, but the rewards are worth it. Rogues and Casters will love you for bringing them Winter Squid and Nightfin and cooking them into Grilled Winter Squid & Nightfin Soup.
farming only works if you are horde, or you do not play on a pvp server.
The easiest way to get gold in world of Warcraft is diversification, keep changing tactics and never over farm or over saturate the auction house with any one thing.

Got to 850g at 56 as a warrior, pretty much used all methods on this video plus skinning/mining all the way

Elemental based monsters have always been profitable. This is literally a begginers guide to WoW.
Tar Lurkers in UnGoro are fire vulnerable and are easy to farm as a fire mage (for living essence). Once you have cash just buy every instance of a particular item (underpriced vs other servers) in the AH and sell them back at a higher price from different characters (be a market maker).
Elemental Fire sells for 7-10 gold on my server (Firemaw). I was just doing a Horde quest in Charred Valley where I had to collect 10 (forgot the name) from the fire elementals. I ended up looing 5 elemental fires and went ot the AH and saw 7.5g the cheapest so I put all 5 for 6 gold each and they got sold for less than 10 minutes, 30 gold for a lvl 23 shammy. + my other 50 gold I already had from Chunk of Boar meat (a stack goes for 50-60 silver) and copper bars (50 to 70 silver for a stack) . You can make 10 stacks of boar meat in Durotar and 60 copper ores for about an hour-hour and a half which will bring you a 5 gold for 1 hour work and another 1.5gold from copper bars. thats 6-7 gold an hour. It could be even more if it goes for higher price atm,
Don't farm at low level for 5 gold an hour.. lol
There is actually 2 black lotus spawns to look out for farming at the camps
remember pickpocketing BRD was pretty good back in vanilla (might have been another instance but it was one of the dungeons in the volcano) took about 1h to do 5 complete runs and u could reset it 5 times so it worked out perfectly... and selling the blind powder (or the herb to make it) was alot of silver at the time... thats how i got the money for my epic mount... properbly not the best gold farm but u where safe from the other faction and sometimes you got something special from the lockboxes...

The reason you got 5 is the same reason they go for 20. There’s no competition which translates to a lower amount of essences

For people interested as of the state of the game now, these are things ive found to be amazing gold mines while leveling (they easily got me more than enough money to instantly buy my level 40 & 60 mount the moment i dinged with some to spare).
- Elemental earth in arathi highlands, it is a popular item and place to farm it. But it sells for so much (and so often) its still viable. Dont focus on it however, pass by the place to see whether there is someone once in awhile and if youre lucky you can get some of them for easy profit. Adittionally if you become 58+ you can farm the rumblers in north-west Silithus, its generally empty there and they have 5% droprate so theyre pretty good.
- winterfall furbolgs are still a viable place for money. But do not go alone! Right now these spots are highly farmed by both factions, pass by the winterfall camp and look which faction is dominating it. Or ask friends/guildies and go there as a group. You benefit from eachothers protection and just kill and loot your own kills for e’ko and firewater. As a group you get pretty good rep for timbermaw, but remember to save dem beads!
- runecloth, there are tons of places where you can get runecloth. Running scholo/strat/LBRS/UBRS/BRD etc will get you lots of it. Additionally you can kill the undead straight to the east of chillwind camp in eastern plaguelands. These guys are among the weakest to consistently drop it. They sell for 2-2,5 gold a stack and people need a lot of them. Just pick them up as you play and bank them to sell them once your bank starts to get full.
- HERBLORE! Yesyes, herblore is one of the easier to level skills and it makes absolute bank. These are herbs that you can farm for big profit:
- mageroyal and Briarthorn in starting areas (i did it in loch modan). These guys can award you 1-3 swifthistle which sell for 2-3 gold on earthshaker and always sell within an hour of posting. There are barely any people actively farming them so conpetition is non existent.
- Ghostmushroom, these guys require 245 herb but are in high demand for a nice price. Farm them in Skulk rock in Hinterlands. There are 3 spawns and respawn every 10 minutes. There is competition here but it generally yields a good amount of profit still. When you are running Maraudon have your find herb active as well, they can spawn there too. You can get upwards to 8 mushrooms for a full run! They sell for 2-3 gold.
- Plaguebloom in Felwood/eastern/western plaguelands. These guys sell for 3-4 gold and you can get up to 3 per harvest. Western plaguelands is a real good place to look for them, but you need to be level 58+ otherwise monsters will be extremely aggressive towards you. Dreamfoil spawns here sporadically too.
- sungrass, altho sungrass doesnt sell for a lot per piece, if you pick them up whenever you see them it will stack up nicely. Especially since they spawn in a lot of places. They generally sell for a couple silver per piece but are used in some very useful potions so generally will sell. This means in the long run it can get you quite some stacks of gold.
- stranglekelp, the same as sungrass, low price, high demand. Just gets you some extra money on the side.

For me, when I was playing WoW. I would wouldnt worry about a Profession right at Start most times. I would Pick up like Herb and Skinning to start off with. Just picking Herbs and Skinning as I leveled up banking the Stuff or sending the items off to Alt/bank toon. Then once I hit a slowing down Period in leveling. instead of getting to burnt out on leveling that Character. I would Switch over to another Character and work leveling that up abit. Picking up like Mining and blacksmithing or Engineer or jeweler
Essence of water can also drop from eastern.plauglands
Those satyr also drop a vital LW pc wicked headband which is a huge help when leveling your LW and the drop rate is high. Sometimes it drops twice in an hour for me when farming fel cloth. People will pay a few gold for it as it gives them an orange craft at 280 or so when they can no longer learn new things from the trainer and it is a decent green item for rogues n druids if you haven’t started doing strath or brd yet. The pattern sells for 1-2 gold usually and I sell the headbands on the AH for 2g all the time. Come to Kronos vanilla! We are waiting for you! AQ opens soon. X4 exp for leveling until Christmas 2022. Multiple raid guilds on both servers and pvp weekends Majority of server pop is EU based so keep that in mind if you are in the US, our evenings they are all in bed.
Careful with the Jadefire Run idea. Few problems with it: 1st and foremost - I'm almost positive the drop for demonic runes is higher if you haven't been there in a while. I get nowhere near 11-14% drop rate listed, but I do get one from the first 4-5 kills every time except once. Overall I seem to get maybe 2.7-3 an hour killing about 45 an hour or so, and maybe 2 Felcloth, which sell for about 2.5g.
Also, the ones in the north mind-control, so be careful if trying to use an AoE strategy. As a holy priest, I can AoE 6 of these down with 6.5k mana but it takes some clicky usage (i'm bringing chained essence of eranikus, smokey's lighter, lei of lilies, robes of insight, and alternating between use on different aoe pulls), but 7 kill me without eranikus essence + lei + greater mana pot or other clicky, the damage starts to outpace holy nova.
For runes I am not sure it's not better to just run scholo provided you make it clear you would like to need dark runes for raiding up front, since they're so useful for a healer. I get about 4 runes a rune in an hour and 15/hour and a half run, and maybe 25-30g otherwise in loot. Runes are cheaper on my server, around 3g. Call it maybe 40g/2hours (30 minutes to set up group) plus argent dawn rep, 20g/hr -- Jadefire Run I would say I make closer to 11-13g/hr. Also runecloth is rarer, mageweave much more common.
Damn black lotus is like 130 in my server. I like to farm arcane Crystal's, they sell for a out 55-68 gold

Essence of water is like 2g on my realm. Every single layer got like 5-10 ppl farming around so reskilling all around with enemy fraction. End of the video for me.

Uuuuh, for people that want to get their level 40 mount? Millions of players? There are few farming methods that I know, I used the method of farming basilisks, cats, and raptors in STV and skinning. Seemed to work, got my mount right at 40. Sure it might not be AS effective as level 50+ farming, but farming for level 40 mount is one of the pinnacle purchases in classic that everyone wants/needs.

Hmm… I didn’t farm a single of this spots but i know spots where every 3rd mob you killed gave you around 50s anf it was a few mins respawn… I was a total noob and 13 years old as i slipped into a clan where a woman started to have a crush on me she showed me all the important spots to farm, and always wanted to hang out with me ingame at cool sunset spots for me in Personal it was kinda weird i only wanted so slay things. One day she get me to join their Teamspeak… She was around 40 and as i said i was 13, i never heard anything from her again after this and one year later i found out she killed her self 🤔 guess she fucked her self with expactations around me, what ever… All i wanted to say is there are good spots to farm where all the mobs are for you without anyone else around 😅

Farm earth elementals in Badlands, they range from level 38-44. Literally just loot everything, the stacks of stones will add up, that's how I had my mount at 40.
You can also spam dungeons (especially Scarlet Monastery) and vendor the green drops. That can add up pretty quickly.
this did not help me at al i am lvl 22 and i cant fight anything you have said i want gold now what do i farm at low lvl there dose not seem to be a video on all of youtube telling you how to get gold at low lvl only at super high lvls

saying "these will sell between 3-6g" then pans to the AH to see them on for 2g50? not a single one over 3g trying to pass this off as a viable gold farm when it really isnt if you want to get serious gold fish winter squid they sell for 1g50s EACH as they are seasonal and limited in stock some fishing locations will net you 1 in 3 will be a winter squid very very profitable potential earnings is alot greater than anything in this video.
