This is not all inclusive, but it's a list of important things to do before you come to the Philippines. Hope it's helpful to you if you're planning a trip soon to this beautiful country.
Hello JJ, how is it going? This is CK. I have been watching more of your videos and thank you for posting them. I am enjoying them and learning more. Can you give me some idea what can anyone do in BGC? I guess what I am trying to get at is what are the day to day activities anyone can do in BGC. Thank you again.
This is great info.!! A couple of items were news to me, and much appreciated!
@@jjoel609 I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching.

Thank you Pia
Nice😊
Thanks
Thanks for all these reminders and pointers. I am planning a visit to the Philippines for a month or two next year. I would be checking it out as a potential retirement venue. However, I need to know if my medications are available there. If this is too much of an obstacle, I might as well give up the plan. Can you think of someway I would make this inquiry and get accurate information?
Hi Daniel. I would make sure you bring enough of your meds when you come here to last through your 2 month stay here. While you are here visit a pharmacy or hospital with your prescriptions and ask them if they are available in the Philippines. If there are some not available you may have to plan it out with your doctor at home to see if he will prescribe enough to last you awhile when you're here. Either that or have someone who can ship it to you once you're in the Philippines. I hope this helps, God luck and thanks for watching.
J I am coming to BGC, Makati this weekend. Can you recommend a decent hotel in that area that is not too expensive, if you have the time I would like to meet you for a drink or coffee also, thanks.
Wow, there aren't a lot of options left for hotels this weekend, especially in BGC. Look on Agoda.com and look in Makati around Greenbelt area. That might be your best bet. I'm actually going to Panglao this weekend but I'll be here in BGC until this Friday. Reach out to me on my email at jjthelonelybullinasia@gmail.com if you want to meet.
Thanks JJ I will probably be the area for a few weeks. I’ll be in touch after you get back from Panglao.
@@thomasrudy6132 I'll be back the middle of next week
JJ,, how is it that you are able to reside in the PH , do you do an extension every 30 days for 36 Months ?
If someone is on a tourist visa they can extend for up to 36 months without having to leave.
Whats the risk of Rabies? There is alot of stray dogs there right.
Stay away from feral dogs in the province.
@@JJthelonelybullinasia But on the streets of Manila and Cebu im good?
Stray dogs are probably your biggest danger in the Philippines actually 😮
Especially on a bike

Wouldn't sending money to your Gcash through your WU account be easier? An ATM doesn't feel safe to me.
You have to have a Philippine phone number to get Gcash. And it's not always the most reliable app here. Many times it's off line and doesn't work at different restaurants or stores.
@@JJthelonelybullinasia Is there any cash app you can rely on?
