Check out the small local granite/countertop dealers. I’d google and yelp it. The big box stores are expensive.

Awesome videooo!!! I am going to buy a countertop at Rainbow Stone for 160 dlls (I think it's the same color and everything). I am probably going to do the cuts and everything myself so your videos are helping me a whole lot!!!

Right on! You can do it! pre-measure everything including placement of your sink, faucets and back splashes before you make your cuts. And knowing how cheap each slab is compared to professionally installed counters took away the pressure of making a mistake. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

There are certain times it is not a good idea to wear flip flops along with bare feet.

This guy got lucky you should never transport any kind of stone granite marble whatever face down it will crack under its own weight with a little pot hole

Definitely not the recommended way to transport, but I wanted to show how I did it. Granite and quartz countertops are around $250. And delivery runs around $100. So it was worth the risk. Even if I cracked 4 slabs I would still have saved money vs hiring a pro. Longer lengths of countertop will crack more easily so having the shop cut it down will decrease the risk. Also quartz is made of plastic resins and is more crack resistant then natural stone.
