my 550xp mark 2 chainsaw bar has small oil holes.... I opened em up with my drill 💪💪. works much better now 👍👍 I'm definitely going to buy TSUMRA light bar for it soon
You said the plastic/polymer inserts are "red" but they look more orange in the video...a bit darker than Husky orange and a lot darker than Stihl. Is it showing up right in the video? I'm sure there's color variation from one production lot to another.
Hope they start offering some different sizes. Lookin on their website and all i saw was 16" and 18",but its a good alternative fir folks on a budget. May try one on my ms250. Cant beat it for the price, thats fer sure.
I cannot understand all the hype about lightweight bars. Yes user fatigue could be an issue , but does 1/2 Lb. , 1 Lb. , 2 Lb. really trump durability ? Maybe so if you're physically limited. I've been using a 42" Forester Pro (green bar ) on an 029 Stihl for chainsaw milling with no problems , which the under-rated power head goes against what all the Powers That Be suggest. Just don't force it , keep your RPM's up , let the saw do the work , stay sharp. Solid bars for me.
Working with a saw all day it does make a difference. The TsuMura light bar I have is no less quality than a solid bar. All that said I would use what works best for you. Thanks for watching
I run some forester bars and have always had good luck, can't beat the price of them.
I just learned something new thanks for the info
How is the Forester FeatherLite bar holding up? Do you like it? It looks like a lightweight LAMINATED bar. Is it solid or laminated?
@duck-n-cover477 it is laminated and doing good so far. They are priced good but 18" is the longest bar they offer right now

@duck-n-cover477 in the light they are orange. Laying flat on the table where the light doesn't pass thur it looks more red. Does that make sense?

Yeah the price is right for sure. I will be putting it to the test to see if it holds up.
