Probably, the best SUV in the market with everyday usability and proper rigid SUV looks with right amount of power and performance figures. Kudos to Porsche👏
Disagree, front looks like a Porsche, so, good, but the "coupe" SUVs are just idiotic in my opinion. I just don't get the hype around them. Also it's just not a damn coupe.
I always like your reviews Rory, I just Subscribed, thought that I did that a long time ago, but now I did for sure. Will watch many more of your videos dude.
May I just say you are so fun to watch mate. Like the cars are cool and I mainly watch for the review. But the way you say certain things just crack me the heck up. Good work on the videos really enjoying them!
Porsche was in huge trouble financially and almost stopped making the 911 but because of the huge amount of money they are making from the Cayenne and the Macan, Porsche can make the Boxster, 911, Cayman and GT2 and GT3 RS. Porsche is a very smart company
Great review! It’s interesting what Porsche has thrown in there-could’ve just put in options on the S as standard and a power hike, but they TRIED- the V8 and all the specific tuning costs money and time and yet they did it.
seats with the middle part made of cloth are the best. They can breathe, seat heating/cooling is better, if not summer days it won't burn your back and in cold days it's better than all round leather
This GTS is fantastic, I had a 958 GTS, great car. Then he mentioned it doesn't have PDK. I drove a Macan GTS with PDK and after I drove that I was a complete 100% PDK convert and it's unfortunate that this doesn't have it. Seriously, who is towing in their Cayenne GTS Coupe?
I don’t agree with the transmission comments, torque converter is so much smoother, dual clutch never really knows how to shift itself, it’s more of a manual replacement with a lot of funny jerks plus dual clutch can’t tow and that jerkyness is so annoying in a traffic jam...
Thanks for the informative review mate. I'm in the market for 'normal' Cayenne GTS and mainly wanted to use it as a GT for the family. The concerning part for me is the harsh ride you mentioned. Is it a deal-breaker hard? Also, how does it compare to the compare to the GLE AMG & X5M in terms of COMFORT. I know you'll recommend the diesel variants but I want a V8 🙂
Good job Rory thank you for your vitality presentation of my probably the next family SUV exactly in this red color with black wheels looks fantastic 👍
22 miles per gallon (9.35 km per litre) is actually good when compared to the some sedans with a V6! I drive a Toyota Mark X( a JDM sport sedan) with a 2.5 litre V6 and it gives me less than 8km per litre of fuel
Do your home work, the special type of exhaust comes with the package of the "cloth" seats. Light Sport Package only includes that special exhaust that you are cheering up.
Great car and all, I'm a fan of Porsche, just not a fan of car makers trying to convince us that 4 doors equals coupe, coupe's only have 2 doors, no matter how they market it.
22inch wheel on this car not the standard 21 RS Spyder ( yes you sort of corrected yourself later on) plus anyone with any knowledge of Porsche can spot the yellow PCCB brakes this car had and not iron as you stated. Details matter Rory. If you're saying the brakes did a "truly brilliant job time after time" but not realising you've got £6k optional ceramic brakes then you lose credibility I'm afraid
Any chance you could give me your opinion on the Cayenne GTS coupe vs the Audi SQ8. Debating between the two and it appears you are the only one that has driven both those trim lines.
Great vid. I have a question. I have porsche 911 and now I'm thinking of getting a car with more seats. I'm thinking Macan S(2022), Cayenne coupe S, and Panamera Sport Turisumo. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!
Great review. Back seat shots of the bread and (pineapple?) we’re hilarious. The V8 alone makes this appealing. My first and only Porsche so far was a 718 Cayman GTS, and the lack of great sound is the single reason I sold it after a year. I’m excited to get one of these kidney blaster Cayenne GTS’.
0:54 those center-mounted dual exhaust are lovely. Really makes the GTS look distinct from the rest of the range.
Shame it sounds so stupid.
And easy to burn your shins
Apparently you can’t add a tow bar because if it??
Rory knows how to make each car stand out from the crowd. Another great review! Thank you.

Rory: “It’s also V8 loud”
Editors: Drown out the V8 with club music
we gotta admit though, that scene was absolutely fire.
He said “this 88 thousand pound GTS model” and I though “damn! That’s heavy!”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭
Lol comment of the decade
I was thinking of a main battle tank when he said 88thousand pounds.
Probably, the best SUV in the market with everyday usability and proper rigid SUV looks with right amount of power and performance figures.
Kudos to Porsche👏
Rory out there matching his shoes to the car’s.
Got Alcon brakes on them trainers!
I noticed
You were the only one in Topgear that actually knew the true specs of a car, tremendous reviews.
Gotta give it to Auto Trader on the visuals. The filmography is amazing 👏🏽
Rory mostly directs it himself :) auto trader let's him be creative.
Finally, a car reviewer that pronounced 'coupe' correctly!
I can't stop thinking of a RS car when I see those exhaust tips and sound.
Im addicted to this channel because of this dude # im from south Africa

those wheels are actually 22' that come with the optional lightweight package, they are not the 21' RS design
I love your car reviews, just the right mix of opinion and information... keep up the great work. You have a new subscriber in me.
Love the back, not so much the front. Seems a little bit outdated. Other than that, lovely car
Agree. It looks like the Macan in front (which doesn’t look bad but certainly a little dated now)
Joey N looks like a vw Beatle
Disagree, front looks like a Porsche, so, good, but the "coupe" SUVs are just idiotic in my opinion. I just don't get the hype around them. Also it's just not a damn coupe.
It does look outdated and understated compared to X6 or GLE or Q8. I dont like that.
front kinda reminds me of 90's supercars on top of a really thick mattress.
I like this guy big time, He is funny as hell lol hahahaha, makes the whole experience good, hard to skip his video
The production quality of your videos is 🔥🔥🔥
One grab handle for yourself when you run out of talent... lol!
That was a good joke.
I really like the way you cut to the chase without waffle or showing off in your reviews. Very enjoyable watch. Thank you.
This edits. Well done to the team. CLEAN AF.
Porsche interiors are up there with subtle brilliance at the minute, nothing shouty or in your face, just sleek, well thought out.... what a car!
Rory has turned this channel around completely. It's now essential viewing

Very stylish, yet extremely functional, in any weather. Definitely would love to have any porsche.
Im here because Rory is the best car journalist in the game. Subscribed! Love the content.
That loaf of bread moving in the back 😂😂
Porsches actually do have launch control my g
To my knowledge, you can option the cayenne with a 3rd seat instead of the tray in the middle of the second row. This option costs 1000 usd.
2:00 wdym a tenth slower than the turbo? the turbo does 3.7 with sport chrono package and 3.9 without it
I’ve been a Porsche fan for many years and this kind of car is one of the reasons why. (:

Rory you are the best!! So entertaining while being informative! You keep it real.👍👏👏👊

So happy that Porsche went to the V8 for the GTS!

I think we need some measured acceleration times, most cars can hit the 60 mph mark much faster than claimed

A high reviving N/A V8 in a Porsche. Possibly the coolest SUV made right now. Porsche specific engine mods. In-house developed exhaust. Awesome.
It’s not NA it’s twin turbo
@@R0man1anRebel Even better! You are right. I just love V8's.
That cubby hole “loaf” ha ha. Alcantara grab handles will grease up in no time with grubby hands.

The volume knob is absolutely delicious 😂😂🤣🤣
Best review I've seen by far... Im fancying one of these

Nice review. My favorite part is the shots of you driving against all those Windows XP wallpapers.
the brakes are carbon ceramic and are 10 piston caliper not 6, just for info :)

@0:35 what happened to the Porsche badge on the rear? It's warped straight through the S! Looks like it's melted!!
