I like screw post when mounting switches. I buy cheap plastic toys or keep nerf shells so I can steal their screw posts and I use acetone mixed with some of the nerf shell to get a plastic putty or glue and glue a post wherever I want a post. The acetone and nerf shell acts like welding so the added post is nice and strong and will work.
Other Batteries? was hoping you'd show some test numbers for different batteries. like how's it do on 2s Lipo? or a Nimh 9.6 Pack? or the Stryfe X Pack?
I take a drill bit one size larger then the wire size and slowly drill out the holes on the switch terminals. It makes putting the wire ends through much easier before soldering.
While I applaud that you made this great to follow mod guide - seriously: only 99fps on 3s lipo is not worth it. The stock motors must be wound like the mk3 DZ ones for high voltage and low amp draw. I think it would be worth experimenting to run this on a 4s lipo instead. If I went from 9v on a Nemesis at 95fps up to a 3s lipo (12v give or take) with about 125-130fps thats a 33% increase in voltage and roughly in fps. If we have stock 12v here thanks to eight alkalines used (yes, voltage drop under load) - going to 16v on a 4s lipo is again a 33% increase in voltage - and would likely result in according fps. That is so spot on to what I predicted on Facebook when you first posted about this. Or actually even worse. :/ Considering you have now decent new flywheels for Rival in store and hopefully someone creates a 130 motor cage for this - as soon as I get one or two imported to Germany (which will as always be a pain) , THAT is what I will test out.
@@SolaR_FlarE910 still have not managed to get it to Germany. Mirage yes, challenger still elusive over here. But once done, it will be on the owlnerfcommunity TH-cam channel for sure.
Well the blaster is not near optimized yet. He just upgraded the wirings and the power. That was a lot of work. But necessary if you plan on running more powerful motors and higher crush cage. Which should put you around 120fps. Plus these balls don't fly as straight when being launched at high velocity.
Does this thing handle 3rd party magazines at all? Pathfinder jammed on every one i used after the first shot and i never bothered with any of the accurival weapons after that.
Hello I am in need of assistance. I bought your guises nemesis mod kit and watched the video and connected everything correctly. The fly wheels do not spin but the gears and the track do run. I don’t understand what I did wrong please help.
Have you seen the mirage? I haven’t heard or seen anything about it. Saw one at store the other night. Looks like a nice blaster. Like a really refined version of the Apollo.
I have no intention of modding my challenger, but this video is interesting to see the mechanics of how it works

That's really cool! Had no idea.
It would be so funny to attach proton pack to a chainsaw motor
I’ll be checking the shop for the proton pack mod🎃

Have you _really_ opened a nerf blaster if it isn’t missing a screw?
Definitely isn’t your first rodeo if you don’t miss one

Hey! Can we get an update for the best kind of bulk rival ammo? I was hoping to find out if Headshot managed to fix their ammo!
Hi Luke, I know this isn’t about the challenger video, but I looked at your shop. Why isn’t the Jupiter up?

It’s still worth switching to 3s simply to avoid motor lag, when spamming that trigger
if you do, you should make a video about it! i'd like to see the difference.
@@jamie5.28 Absolutely. Will take a little bit still but as always will be released on the OWL nerf community channel when done :)
Heylo, looking to upgrade my own challenger but i would like to make the big number go bigger (fps) did you try the 4s? If so, how’d it go?

Is there a plan for a new cage that is compatible with 130 motors and Photon wheels?
We have it on our list of potential mods, but we don't yet have a timeline on when to expect it on the shop.
All that work for only 99fps?
Is it capable of 120 or 130fps?
With a new cage, perhaps...

@@outofdarts is that hinting at the new wheels with the Juno? 👀
@@chaikaomoua1169 Weird. I'm used to just getting insta-130-140fps from a rewire and 3S.

When do you think the mod kit is coming out

We haven't got our hands on one, but we're looking forward to it. Should take a spring upgrade pretty well
Are the flywheels and cage similar in size to other rival flywheels?
I might buy one in the future though
What's the current draw on the stock motors?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yay
Worked great but accidentally wired some stuff wrong but it was a easy fix
When will you guys do a review on the ZWQ S200S Viper? Ever since I saw the Viper on the shop, I couldn’t wait for the review! 😊
