I've had 3 cats adopt me. They all just walked into my house and stayed. They wouldn't leave. I kept them until they passed. The last one is still with me. She is 21yrs old.
We had a cat walk into our house one day and decided that’s where she wanted to live. A few weeks later we found out she belonged to the neighbors, but she kept coming back. So the neighbor just gave her to us.
@kevmorris3000 When I was in my early years, we had many a cat just walk into the house when the door was open and simply....stayed. It was still happening to me in my late 20's (I got Sebastian that way - he just walked in to my apartment and made himself at home. I had him until he passed 10 years later ). So yea...the Universal Cat Distribution System (UCDS) works like a charm - it KNOWS with whom to match the right cat.
It has happened many times to us along the years. Most accepted to go back "home" and continued to pay us visits. Others... the neighbours and us, we had no choice but to come to an agreement suiting the cat's will.
When the cat climbs through the window and the dog is walking around. Seeing the cat and dog living happily together brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful guy!!!!
So touching. Each kitten is a gift from God. How could you not want to adopt them. Sadly the VETS and pet FOOD companies make it so hard for many of us to help those precious babies.
My gutter kitten was found at midnight on a busy street. He was 7 weeks old. He was very ill at the time, the vet said he wouldn’t have lasted another week…but he grew to be big 16lbs 😂 He passed at 18 years from cancer this July. 💔 I miss him terribly, he had the most gentle spirit and would hug you back and purr. He was careful to not use his claws on me even when I had to give him a bath. He wasn’t the brightest but that made it fun. He’d sit behind the bathroom towels with only his face covered and thought we couldn’t see him. 💕😂
Many years ago someone told me how their parents got a cat. A ginger stray chose them and kept running into the house every time the door was opened, and they repeatedly chased him back out again. (plus tried to block the doorway with their legs when opening it) The kitty also came in through a window more than once, so they put up screens... but the cat was NOT going to be removed from HIS new home! Well, one day they were each in different rooms doing their own things when they heard a commotion from the living room. The parents both thought "burgler" but instead they found a soot covered cat sitting happily on the couch, having come in via the chimney. He looked proud of himself. Apparently that was the final straw and they accepted that he was their cat now, and went to get cat food and a cozy cat bed for him
My brothers in Florida have a stray colony that pretty much lives under their mobile home. The made small "hutches" for mother cats to give birth under their mobile home. The made deals with local vets and the city for discounted or free spay/nuter services. That was 12 years ago...the colony was almost 75 cats back the last time I visited them. I talked to them today and the colony is now closer to 30 and a few add ons from time to time. I now foster cats...I help where I can, but my heart has been hurt a few times by a rescue (RIP Gizmo...see ya soon buddy...mom got ya til then...you know the drill)

About five months ago, when I was still working, some networking guys were running cable into a room when they heard meowing in the wall. They tore into the wall to pull put the six week old kitten that had wandered off from its mommy and siblings, and fell into the wall. They gave her to one of our client services ladies, and she adopted her right then and there. For a month or so, I was "Uncle Tony" to this little girl. The day I retired, this same lady brought her in so that Uncle Tony could say his goodbyes. She was just as sweet as she was when she was first found.
The 1st clip reminds me of when a stray mama that had just had her kittens in the living room a few days before moved her kids to my parents bedroom and we thought that she had hid them in the wall. so my just punches a few holes to find out that no kittens were there. Mama had moved them into his civil war magazines and he was more upset about having to toss the magazines then the unneeded holes in the wall. Just like a true cat dad

I lived in the country. Someone thru a kitten into a briar bush in front of my house. My son adopted her immediately. She became mine. Best damn mouser I've ever seen. She lived with me for over 21 years. Rest in peace Gizmo.
I'm using my husband's phone but last year my husband was away from home on a construction job and found this little 4 week old kitten abandoned so he took him to his hotel and cared for him till he came home. Now he owns us and he's the best little fur baby ever. Then a few months ago I was visiting my son and his family and this old tabby came walking up the sidewalk. The door was open bc it was warm out and he just walked right in the house, jumped up in the computer chair and swatted the dog across the face for trying to sniff him lol. Needless to say, he's their cat now. He was an old , stray tabby and the sweetest little guy. The whole family loves him too. I love the cat distribution center ❤
03:36 Ohhh boy, if that were to happen to me, you can be rest assured that those kittens are going inside the house and staying there for rest of their life...

friendship with street animals is special, i used to buy my factory cat thanksgiving lunch every year at mcdonalds, he loved the chicken nuggets, i was thankful for his freindship at work, he made my days a little better, RIP screwball
I found a little stray cat when I was a teenager and she just warmed up to the family right away. My mom turned into an animal lover. The cat never grew very big, so it was like having a permanent kitten. The vet said she was probably a year old. She stayed and had 5 kittens before we had her fixed. Found homes for all her babies, the biggest one, a massive tom, were taken by the people next door, so she could always depend on a friend who was there to protect her, since he loved roaming at night outdoors.
My bestie and I rescued the cutest black and white female kitten sadly neither of us could keep her, so we gave her to my besties paw paw we named her rain because we found her in the rain lol and she is now a happy barn cat out in the country.
I found one of my 2 cats 1 year ago. She was stuck in my neighbour fence calling for help so I took her.She was about 3months old.I asked all neighbours if they had lost a baby cat but no one lost any. So my former cat and I adopted her. My cat is a 3 years female and considered the new baby as hers. They are now best friend and I have 2 cats....
Had the cat distribution system try to select me by jumping directly into my house, however the 6 other cats the distribution system had already gifted my family had an issue with that... Luckily it has a new family now
CDS got me a few days ago. Now I have a little gray 10 week old I've named Casper Underfoot. He's my shadow. Always under my feet, I have to look down when I walk through my house because. I've accidentally booted him a few times. He insists on walking between my legs. Not off to the side in front or behind. Dead center only. Knew he was for me when he fell asleep in my hand within an hour of finding him.

Pet food companies making subpar products I get and somewhat agree with, but I've never had issues with vets?
And how do they do that then?
I absolutely love these videos. Congratulations to all of you lucky Mums and Dads.

the text to speech cheapens the experience
Just be careful with adult cats. If they are too friendly they might be someone’s cat.
The voiceover needs to go.
The voiceover is a killer - we can see and hear. It's so unnecessary and makes this unwatchable, so I stopped watching
