I am taking photos and then laser engraving on wood and acrylics. Your vid helped a lot. I’m was struggling with this. You helped... good job.

Hi :) Great :) ok ,in this example you convert bitmap in vector image ,how can we fill entire vector image with color ,outline it and separate the outline so that outline represent the vector object only with outline ,only outside contour ,not the contours in the image, not in solid color? ,for example your image here is image vectorised ,how about only contour,the shape of image with contour ?Thank you :)

+Jeannette311 It is certainly possible with some work. After you convert it to a vector image, what you will want to do is make it all the same color, weld it so that there are no overlapping lines. And after that, copy it, make it a different color. And you will then want to delete the areas that you don't want of each color. TRW Nick

What you will need to do is make a template out of it, either using the TRW Design Wizard 3.0 or color separating it somehow and then making a Weed Box around it (taking a rectangle and making sure your design is exactly center in the square). Then you will highlight, File>Export and save it to wherever you would like it saved to. Then you will open your cutting software go to File>Import and find where you saved it to and you'll just have to double click on it. :) TRW Nick
Hey Vicki, The software in the video is called CorelDraw. That has the function where you can take an image from Google and trace it so it will become a vector image. You do not have that in your Silhouette software. - TRW Aaron
