I know when you take a graphic and vectorize it in Corel, you can limit the amount of colors in it. It's located in the Trace dialog box, under the Colors tab.
Nice job...So I have a laser engraver, vinyl cutter and cnc plasma..my issue with CorelDraw x8 is I need DXF formats to use with cncplasma..but not getting good results...what are your thought about Vector Magic?

I have vinyl express R series II cutter and the software that came with it is LXI expert. Which coreldraw do I need to purchase to be able to do this and then transfer the image to my software. I have been trying to figure out how to do this forever!
Any of the CorelDraw version should be able to do this, even the older X3 versions. You might even check out some of the free vector art applications like Inkscape. It may have a similar feature as well.
