Dee 1 i miss your music so much. Your a big inspiration to me. You helped me connect with God really deeply. My mom was murdered when i was 3 and I’ve been depressed at the age of 13 and listening to your music and your words of wisdom showed me i need to make a difference in this world and make my life positive for me and the people around me. I’m not lying about my parents either. Look up Brian David Payne. I wish i could meet you or just even have a FaceTime conversation with u. Stay focused on your lane and get your message out man.i pray god guides you throughout your journey and i pray he shows you how to achieve happiness for you and others. When Dee1 started talking about the missing ingredient at the end tho… 🙌🏾 That was the perfect way to end this convo and I completely 100% agree. Learning about each other’s love languages, personality traits and other attributes are very important. However, when it comes to following and submitting to a man of God that can lead, that is what’s most important to me. If God isn’t truly in the forefront of our relationship and our overall foundation, it’s pointless IMO. And a lot of people miss this because they are trying to make things work that God didn’t ordain to begin with and trying to heal and fix things that are broken without Him. Truly enjoyed this convo and can most definitely understand Sevetri’s struggle when it comes to dating lol

Enjoyed the convo. I liked hearing both point of views. I really appreciate the lady's view points especially the idea of a traditional household with each person still working toward their own individual goals while moving together as a unit. Yassssss!!!!

I like the way my pastors did it. At first his wife was the breadwinner while he went to seminary & then when he got his degree & found a stable church position, she quit her job & now he's taking care of her. Kinda like your Michelle & Barack example. it's all about teamwork.
Everything that’s was said in this video was on point I really like David view point they are so similar to mines especially the part bout family and being content and being spiritual grounded with God and putting in work for the community giving back and helping ppl that’s beautiful that’s exactly how i see my family being with God at the center this was touching

Good dialogue. I'm 16 minutes in thus far and to the question of do you think you can find a life partner if you were less successful is a real concern for women. The bigger concern for me though is not having a life partner due to my relationship with Jesus Christ. What I a finding is alot of people my age now men and women do not believe in God. Then there are those who go to church service but they are not involved with ministry, don't attend Bible Study, or Sunday School. I want someone that can be the head in that area and I just have not come across that.

I'm in ministry, I love bible study and love to teach the bible and I'm a Sunday School teacher, praise and worship leader as well. My problem is finding someone that can handle my level of spirituality and level of commitment and dedication that I have to the Lord. For example I don't like to listen to secular music at all, I'm cautious about the movies that I watch, I don't drink any alcohol. But yet I love to have fun in a lot of different ways as long as it does not affect my relationship with the Lord. I'm a seeker of His glory I'm what you call a God Chaser. It takes a special woman to understand this type of Lifestyle. Are you that type of woman.

I am here for black excellence and black beauty, yes! Success in God's kingdom is defined by Purpose honestly so it should never be an issue for two "successful" people to be together. If we mean success as in very busy *in everything but the relationship*, issa no! Lol, already it won't work for me! I understand David since men (traditionally) don't want an overly busy woman because it is perceived there is no time...men also don't desire to compete with women in any fashion. Women who are in high powered positions have to literally learn to have harmony between their feminine and masculine energy which is not an easy task if they are very productive in their jobs. I too, had to learn this--it is not easy but it is possible--men do not have this issue at all since they can carry the same energy into relationships as business maintaining their masculinity! Waiting for submission to be defined, maybe next time. Know your love languages! Loathing to include yes I have had those conversations where it is like I have did the inner work and here are some things were there can be improvement on my end lol total crickets on the other end hahha folks lack the range to deal! We need to get out of making relationships transactional...and have more realistic expectations. I don't agree that the woman should pay for everything on a date but to each their own.
We need to ask better questions...instead of what do you bring to the table--what do you value most in a relationship? Instead of what do you do? Do you love what you do and why? Is this person willing to accept me (not my representative) with all my flaws as I am right now? Why? Do they have emotional stability? Do they value themselves? How can I (potentially) add value to this person's life? What are their love language(s)? Who do they admire most and why? Am I able to starve my ego long enough to SERVE them? What is their story? Are they drawing me closer to my faith or furthering me from my faith? For ladies, where is your Naomi? For men, is my queen a Vashti or an Esther? Lol...yes I went there. Gender roles...given the state of all that we need to say our expectations...!
This whole conversation is TOO much......... it shouldn’t be that hard, my husband and I knew each other TWO weeks and got married, that was 27 years ago

FIRST of ALL. "Wisdom of the world is foolishness with God!" Secondly, IF you are a BORN AGAIN child of God you are not to be "conformed to the world BUT BE TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind!" So you shouldn't be comparing yourself to the world! You should be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your mind. You should be RENEWING your mind by the Word of God and THAT'S what you should be comparing your life to and MAKING SURE(examine yourself) you're behaving the way the Lord COMMANDS His children too! I have not heard ANY scripture in this video BUT when you OBEYING the Heavenly Father you obey his commandments and have scripture to support ALL your behavior! For instance their discussing goals and conceit "selfish ambition" and the Word says "let nothing be done out of selfish ambition and conceit!"
