Stefanos Tsitsipas is 26 years old & has been in 2 Slam Finals, 6 Slam SFs, 8 Slam QFs & 13 Slam R16s so far. At just Grand Slams, Stef has beaten Federer, Nadal, Thiem 2X, Murray 2X, Sinner 2X, Medvedev, Zverev, Fritz & others. Tsitsi took Djokovic to 5 sets 2X at Slams. If Dimitrov can peak at 33, Tsitsipas can come back & win a Major.
Hopefully he gets married and comeback with a healthy and mature mindset, and ignore the haters. He is definitely one of hard hitters with a lot of potential, who just need practice on several top10 strategies on the court. Hitting the ball back to the centre simply isnt the strategy anymore in modern tennis.
It's questionable to say that Dimitrov peaked at 33, he did got into the top ten again but he was world no.3 in 2017 after winning the ATP finals. The only way Tsitsipas is going to come back and win a slam is if both Sinner and Carlos get injured or of he improves his backhand drive and slice. Otherwise he's never going to beat Carlos or Sinner (or someone else who might pop up in the next 7 years).
@ Tsitsipas has never lost a best of 5 match vs Sinner. Beat Jannik both times at Australian Open on the Italian's favorite surface, hard. The one year out of the last 3 that Sinner didn't face Stefanos at AO, he won it. Besides, Stef had 2 major injuries in 2023 - right shoulder after AO & low back after the Asian Swing & no proper off-season, just rehab. Remember he was still injured for a while in 2024. Tsitsi kept changing up his serve from platform to pinpoint back & forth to protect his back in Sydney at UC, Melbourne AO, Los Cabos, Acapulco, Indian Wells & Miami 2024. In 2021, Stef had a right elbow injury for many months & then had surgery in November. That is why his backhand & slice got affected. When healthy, his game is good enough to beat everyone except a peaking Carlos Alcaraz. Now that Tsitsipas has freed himself from his father, he will need time to figure out his true game.
@@MusicMendicantTsitsi ain’t winning shit with his rusty 1 one hander. I like him but it’s just such a weakness and it seems like he’s only gotten worse since the FO Final loss to Djokovic.
That was easily the BEST tennis interview of 2024. It's so rare to have a Hall of Famer transition into a top-notch broadcaster !
Thank you for having Jim Courier on. My favourite tennis broadcaster. Knowledgeable, interesting and funny. First class gentleman 👌
Loved Courier's interviews with Federer on court after matches.
So funny.
Courier is always worth a listen. Great commentator but his on court interviews are gold 🙌✨️🔥
JIM COURIER RIGHT ABOUT NOWW
Well that was a good interview 🎉
28:30 We're forgetting Jack Draper here (and possibly Fonseca but that wilk take a few years).

@@helloeveryone0123 He needs to practice backhands if he wants to beat the best players.

TSITSIPAS? DID NOT MENTION HIM!!
So I see Courier changed his mind about Sinner
prima cosa diceva su Sinner?
