Yeah many red states have problem because many red states have blue metro areas. He is diverting the point and she is incompetent to rebut. The problem is many red states have metro areas as well like blue states. those metro areas are typically run by those in dnc. DNC dominates metro areas and so fo course crime rates are high it makes sense. If you live in a city and you have an administration/council that doesn't give a crap and only caters to the people living in gated communities then yeah you have above. The problem is with metro areas in general it isn't red state blue state it is more that metroa areas are dominated by dems and these same metro areas have high rates of pvoery, crime and inequality that never gets resolved. Homelessness, drug abuse, inequality etc. always correlate with population density, regardless of which party is in control. Your argument is easily dispelled by zooming out a bit and by considering global trends. The DNC doesn't run Paris, London or Berlin, but the statistics are the same all over the world. So the reality is that crime and related problems are always higher in metro areas, because of higher population density, not because the DNC somehow causes crime and drug abuse in cities. When it comes to education, first of all, that is a pivot. Furthermore, its real rich considering the republican secretary of education for the past three years has been Betsy Devos, who is in no way competent. I think you're superfluously right. She does "pivot," but only because her goal in the conversation is not to argue that one is perfect, but that it's better than the other. So when Destiny asks, why does Trump x? She replies with, what about democrat x? And that's not to ignore the point because she has no answer (though she may well not have one), but to attempt level the discussion in her mind and show that if Destiny has a problem with x, then it's not one unique to Trump or republicans. So she's not being dishonest. I think she's just trying to argue a different point, missing the trees for the forest.

I think it's pretty obvious Trump didn't just receive "a little bit of criticism. " He had almost every mainstream news source working to get him out of office. A CNN executive even admitted that their goal was to make Trump look as bad as possible and effect the election. I personally wasn't a huge fan of Trump, but the coordinated efforts to work against him and undermine his validity was unprecedented. They are currently treating Biden with kid gloves even on serious issues, such as exacerbating the child immigration camps that the MSM equated to Nazi Germany under Trump. I teach in Texas, so most of my co workers are the same as this lady. They don’t teach government, and I’m sure she’s great at her job teaching her subject. It does hurt a little that any teacher doesn’t understand how much their students go through and truly believe their parents should have boot straps to pull up on. Given that they have an easy-to-transition platform that they can inflict and express their own specific views. Going as far as to mock leftist ideologies and painting communism and socio-democratic societies as failed and "weak" governments while hyping up the "strong and tough" capitalist America. My HS senior economics teacher went as far as to claim that democrats and leftists in America were quote, "communist pansies". When someone like her Is a teacher, EVEN if they aren't govt or eco, they find ways to inflict their views onto students. Luckily I didn't experience any science educators like that. If my biology professors didn't believe in evolution that would definitely be a struggle.

The problem is many red states have metro areas as well like blue states. those metro areas are typically run by those in dnc. DNC dominates metro areas and so fo course crime rates are high it makes sense. If you live in a city and you have an administration/council that doesn't give a crap and only caters to the people living in gated communities then yeah you have above. Homelessness, drug abuse, inequality etc. always correlate with population density, regardless of which party is in control. Your argument is easily dispelled by zooming out a bit and by considering global trends. The DNC doesn't run Paris, London or Berlin, but the statistics are the same all over the world. So the reality is that crime and related problems are always higher in metro areas, because of higher population density, not because the DNC somehow causes crime and drug abuse in cities.

I think you're superfluously right. She does "pivot," but only because her goal in the conversation is not to argue that one is perfect, but that it's better than the other. So when Destiny asks, why does Trump x? She replies with, what about democrat x? And that's not to ignore the point because she has no answer (though she may well not have one), but to attempt level the discussion in her mind and show that if Destiny has a problem with x, then it's not one unique to Trump or republicans. So she's not being dishonest. I think she's just trying to argue a different point, missing the trees for the forest.
Looking at this six months on, it’s amazing how stale and irrelevant her stupid line of questioning is. I hope she looks at it herself now and then. Destiny put in an incredible performance. Absolutely unflappable. I’d put him in the earpiece of any Democrat on any stage.

I think it's pretty obvious Trump didn't just receive "a little bit of criticism. " He had almost every mainstream news source working to get him out of office. A CNN executive even admitted that their goal was to make Trump look as bad as possible and effect the election. I personally wasn't a huge fan of Trump, but the coordinated efforts to work against him and undermine his validity was unprecedented. They are currently treating Biden with kid gloves even on serious issues, such as exacerbating the child immigration camps that the MSM equated to Nazi Germany under Trump. Given that they have an easy-to-transition platform that they can inflict and express their own specific views. Going as far as to mock leftist ideologies and painting communism and socio-democratic societies as failed and "weak" governments while hyping up the "strong and tough" capitalist America. My HS senior economics teacher went as far as to claim that democrats and leftists in America were quote, "communist pansies".
When someone like her Is a teacher, EVEN if they aren't govt or eco, they find ways to inflict their views onto students. Luckily I didn't experience any science educators like that. If my biology professors didn't believe in evolution that would definitely be a struggle.

In certain regions it's just common to speak slower it's just a different cadence and accents can make it harder.

and IMMEDIATELY she suddenly doesn't want to talk about climate change anymore, she's suddenly really interested in circling back to a previous topic. "do you really care about climate change" to "well of course we all care about climate change" to "well trump actually cares more about climate change than anyone" to "let's not talk about his anymore" in a matter of seconds. her opinions on every topic change sentence to sentence and every time destiny counters with a slam dunk she cuts him off and tries to move on. very impressive of destiny to keep his cool and just laugh it off, i would've been MAD in that situation
I wish Destiny would have countered the climate change question with, "Are the billions of people living near coastlines worried about climate change?" 😂
Asks him a ton of questions. Then he asks for one, she says go ahead. Out of so many trump appointees, still no voter fraud was found, what do you have to say for that. Completely ignores him and goes rite back to questioning him again. That also wasn’t going well for her either way.
