This is a legendary debate, ive watched this 2-3 times. Watching him stutter and repeat the same thing in 5 different ways is insane. How can anyone be so unprepared
wow, didn't expect a convo about the cosmological argument for god at the end!
this argument while initially intuitively impressive has room for doubts:
(1) a spaceless timeless mind is a big assumption (at the very least minds seem incoherent without spatial and temporal thoughts, i.e. time is a precondition of thinking)
(2) if the big bang is the origin of time, then there is no ''before'' the big bang, as ''before'' assumes time (like asking what's north of the north pole)
(3) why would a perfect being have a ''need'' to create an imperfect creation? wouldn't a perfect being have no needs?
I don't like you Destiny, you are a bad-faith debater and typically muddy the waters when stating your positions.

haha exactly. it's just "I have a degree" and not this is why my degree has value. I work in tech, and a degree means practically nothing outside of you were able to do a level of commitment and discipline. it does not ultimately outline what you do or do not know at the end of the day. how Destiny explained the nuance of his college experience and the school's position was important. my college had an exceptional program for my field of study (as well as it's business program) but it's medical school track paled in comparison to another school in the area. the way he simplified the school did not demonstrate logic, just pretentiousness.

@@codefactor It depends on your environment though I would assume. You can't use base command line. I've never messed with NFTs to be fair but I'm a CS major and base command line unless you have an OS with a command built in to do this, it's not gonna work. However, packages, libraries, applications, and environment tools probably do exist to do so. Or just having simple scripts
I'll admit, I'm not the biggest Destiny guy, but I saw this guy on the Whatever Podcast. He seemed very inquisitive, well-spoken, and insightful but something irked me about him.
Here it is on full display, he is not interested in having a real conversation. He looked to demean Destiny at every chance, through any means just for the spectacle while also being extremely hypocritical. He continually accuses Destiny of getting angry when Destiny interrupts him (while continuously interrupting Destiny), also referring to him as "my boy," then emphatically saying, "We definitely aren't brothers." He admonishes Destiny for only valuing clout but in his direct response and evidence in why he's successful he name-drops Michael Bloomberg as his friend 🤣.
It seems his only motivation in doing this is FOR INTERNET CLOUT. Every point he tries to make he drops his name, "If someone were to ask me, 'Hey Marquette..."
He also ignores most of Destiny's questions, when Destiny asks him why he didn't answer a question he degrades him saying that he answered it multiple times. Such a worthless convo, I continued to watch only so see how deep he would go into his tropes.
Yeah when he named dropped Bloomberg saying “my good friend” just shows where his mindset is at. He simply could have made the point without saying that but felt the need to boost his status.
As an IT professional of over 20years, hearing anyone call themselves a “Technologist” is flat out embarrassing. Anyone that actually calls themselves 😮that, has no business working with technology.

A good rule of thumb to follow for people like this that you actually have to interact with I find is to think, “if I don’t respect this guy’s intellect, personality, ability to interact fairly, etc (whatever matters to you), why do I care if he thinks well of me? In fact, if he thinks highly of me, wouldn’t that mean that I’m actually an asshole since I know he’s only able to look up to people like himself?”
This general philosophy has helped me navigate life a lot easier since I’m generally a very empathetic person who always tries to see things from an individual’s perspective, I’m always willing to mediate, I’m always willing to talk to someone who doesn’t agree with me, etc. i was having the issue with respecting people too much who didn’t respect me, and I didn’t want to stop respecting them as people because I felt empathy for their stupidity and like you said, the stress and anxiety they must go through to upkeep their egos. When I put this all together, it was like an “a-ha” moment. “I genuinely hope you get better as a human being, but it’s not up to me. I genuinely don’t care that you don’t like me because I like me, and I know I’m fair and objective, especially with myself.”
