I just wanted to say, you last video about sealing/ finishing sketches was amazing! I had never thought/ heard of that and now I am obsessed lol. I can’t wait to watch this video because I have metallic paint and don’t use it 😝👀

Finally! You popped up immediately in my stream because I have been searching “watercolor iridescent” etc. for months now! This is the video I was looking for! Thank you so much

Hullo Alice, when I watch a video like this I am reminded why you were my first person that I subscribed to on TH-cam! You can do so much more than a simple how to video, you present techniques and create wonderful artwork with joy that shines through each and every stroke! I still appreciate your hard work and energy that you give to your viewers, thanks Alice. Please keep creating and sharing your art journey with us, now go enjoy the rest of your day.

#8 when using watercolor, I put a drop of gold/silver watercolor in the ceramic dish and mix with the normal watercolor. That way your entire painting has a subtle sinny touch that makes your watercolor pop

I was just thinking of doing this, but wasn't sure if it would work! Thank you for this comment, now I already know it'll work and won't have to experiment quite as much!

Very cool video, ty. Use the 2nd layer in a border to get the foiled look is a super tip.

Thank you for sparking some more creativity in myself with some ideas I have never thought about before. Btw, you are one of the first artist youtubers that I follow that has ever responded to me! That makes me feel amazing! Sometimes it is easy to feel insignificant on a platform like this

Thanks for the inspiration! The way I also use metalics is as a transparant sparkly wash on top of a colour, especially in backgrounds

I absolutely love that type of paint, metallic or otherwise! I currently have the full range of colours in the gansai tambi paints from Kuretake, but if I didn't I'd be jumping on that coupon code and grabbing those Prestigify palettes.

This is beautiful. The sun is my favorite - I'm a Leo after all 🦁 - but they're both lovely. How do you get your paper to flatten out when you're done? No one ever talks about how to get the wrinkles/warping out.

Another way to use them: accessories. Maybe jewellery, a nice metallic hat, any small area on the drawing that will make it pop.

Now I don't feel so bad having 7 different packs of metallic watercolours (I'm not kidding but it's for a video I will eventually get round to doing). I really love the blending of the sky technique, i'm deffinatley going to be using that.

the only fault of this video is that you paint with your sleeves down and all i could think was "aklsdfja you're gonna get paint on your sleeve!! ROLL! THEM! UP!!!!!"
