We love Covilhã, Fundão, and the whole Beira Baixa region. Welcome to our side of the mountain! 😎

Motorcycle rally in Serra da Estrela. I don't know when it is but I was there in 1990. I recommend going to a motorcycle rally in Portugal. Spectacular atmosphere and the best friends.

Great video as usual. The bridge planks aren't loose, it is anti-seismic construction. It shakes but doesn't fall. (J/K)

Hello, Tony. The buildings at the bottom next to the river were not mills but textile factories. Covilhã was known for its wool textiles and called the "Manchester of Portugal"

It's an interesting video that's for sure. We get a good look at the city of Covilha.
Personally i would not feel comfortable on that walking bridge though, walking to the other side. Maybe on my ebike or motorbike rush over it, would be a fun thing.
But of course that's probably not allowed. Anyway, i would love to visit that city one day. It was already on my list.

That bridge looks so fragile from the air! But you're right, it looks minimalistic but nice.
Btw, I wonder when Chris will need surgery to remove his headphones.😂

I am from this side of the mountain. On of the main reasons there are so many well kept apartment buildings, is that Coviliha is a University Town.

Ah! That will also explain the diversity! It seemed as though there were people from all over the world!

I have not been as yet. Doesn't look bad at all. Very well maintained streets. It is a bit far for me though (my opinion). I know that you do not mind doing plenty of miles. Last year, I did about 4000 km in total in the car. I am such a homebody.

It looks a beautiful city, dude, I'll head up there when I'm back from Italy if you want a meet up and coffee.
EDIT: I see you managed to squeeze in another "juxtaposition conjugation!"

Literally the word "Jardim" means Garden, i think, Jardin in French.
I'm not saying you are wrong, of course in this context it's more a Park or a Playground.

9:36 "País de Bananas" := Banana Country or Banana Republic; You forgot to translate that! Hey, I'm portuguese, i'm allowed to self deprecate a little!

Went through it, felt industrial, don't understand appartment blocks, considering the land mass
