It’s going to be really exciting to see them play together for the first time, hopefully that can also be our CB pairing at the U20 World Cup next year!
Awesome to find a creator who looks at the youth teams. Needing to know who our national prospects are and what they are doing is critical to the geeks of us who are really truly dedicated to our national team. ❤️❤️🇺🇸❤️❤️
That is a LOT of content and a LOT of terrific can’t-get-it-anywhere-else insight! Well done. I won’t even remember 25% of the guys you mentioned, but am keen to watch this roster group to get more familiar. Well done, gents 🙌🏽
Thi might be an unrealistic amount of research to request, but am super curious how many guys we have in top Eurpoean acedemies compared to Mexico, ot compared to what our youth looked like in the previous generation maybe 10 years ago. Just want some objecitve stats on the strenght of our youth to know how excited we should be, or not. Love the vid though!
That’s a really good question! I think the numbers sort of depend on what you consider top academies because we have a lot more young players in Europe than ever before, but not all of them are in world class academies. I think it’s also worth mentioning that most of our ‘08s and ‘09s, who are potentially the most talented classes of players we’ve produced, still play in MLS Next academies because they’re either too young to move abroad or don’t have a European passport. For now, here’s a list of high level European academies that have (at least) one American in them: • Liverpool • Fulham • Brentford • Crystal Palace • Man City • Cardiff City • Brighton • Chelsea • Blackburn Rovers • Wolves • Nottingham Forest (loan from MLS) • Southampton (loan from MLS) • Coventry City • Barcelona • Real Madrid • Atletico Madrid • Athletic Bilbao • Mallorca • RB Leipzig • Dortmund • Bayern • Bayer Leverkusen • Frankfurt • Augsburg • Freiburg • Werder Bremen • Stuttgart • Hoffenheim • Union Berlin • Inter Milan • Roma • Venezia • Lazio • Reims • Strasbourg • Lens • Lyon • Benfica • Sporting CP • Vitoria Guimarães • PSV • Ajax • Feyenoord • Twente • Club Brugge • Anderlecht • Gent • Westerlo • Rangers • Sparta Prague • Dynamo Moscow • Copenhagen • Nordsjælland (on loan from MLS) • Hajduk Split • Palmeiras • Fluminense • Universidad Católica
Great question! It’s hard to say since he just arrived and it’s not his coaches that are managing the youth teams, we’ll just have to see if they implement his system
My guess would be that he wasn’t released for the camp by Dortmund. He just made his first Bundesliga matchday squad, and this international break could be a great opportunity for him to train with the first team.
really happy that Cremaschi is going to be involved with this cycle, after not being released for the last U-20 world cup, he is now more mature and should be a leader on this team. 🇺🇸🫡
I agree with Michael that Cremaschi is overrated, but he’s still one of the best players in this U20 cycle. Very excited and happy to see he accepted a role with this group, he could be a huge asset in the U20 World Cup next year.
Appreciate you for having me on again ❤️
Definitely, it was a pleasure!
my king
I've been anxious to see Banks and Wynder for quite some time. Hope they're healthy and get the minutes.

Much appreciated, we love talking about the youth teams! We try to make a video or two about every notable USYNT camp!

We can get it done! We will list and discuss every player we have in European academies and briefly explain their position and strengths

How does Pochettino effect the coaches/ play style of the teams?

He is mid. Kind of overrated
@@Michael-tj5bk At the U-20 Level he is one of the best players.
@@Chicagofellow15 no he is not. He is very avg. Doesn't create anything. Period
