when rover met her, rover was a member of the pioneer association and did collaborative work with patrollers and midnight rangers now rover is a leader of the black shores, so if yinlin still hasnt reclaimed her position within the greater huanglong patrollers, then it would be logical for rover to recruit as she can do similar work as part of the black shores, besides in the black shored no one would even begin to think of her as odd if they have even observed camellya from afar
I don't think she would join the Black Shores, just because she has issues trusting people. She prefers working alone, so at most she could be an ally, a collaborative worker of sorts. But even then, she would disguise herself while doing it, so the Black Shores don't recognize her. Taking this into account, who's to say she hasn't already collaborated with them? Who's to say she hasn't even infiltrated their ranks already...? As good as the Black Shores are at intel gathering, they do have issues from time to time which would be exploitable by the best spy in Huanglong~
0:24 I love how they kept her mannerism when speaking just like in her trailer when she's implying that something bad will happen after her countdown. Makes the character feel more alive.
i really love Yinlin. much like many of the limited Resonator, she also has a tragic past yet she decided to overcome it and actually do good in the world. i really enjoyed her Companion Story and i wish i could repeat it!
She was in 1.4 quest but small role again. I hope they include her in a main story arc one day. Maybe when we go to the New Federation since she has done business there like running into Calcharos mercenaries

One of the best cast choices for Wuthering Waves is Naomi McDonald, as Yinlin's Voice. I love her performance. Congrats and thank you for delivering us a wonderfull character in this amazing game! 🥰.. An yeah she is one of my favorite characters to hang out arround Solaris 3.
