Hi there, it actually depends on what type of button you are using like a simple link click, or is it an ( if you've added whatsApp through some third party extension).
So, I can't really tell a fixed answer. But it is possible by changing trigger conditions or making little development changes.

Google Ads do that by default that's why we do Enhanced Conversion, so user's data (1st party data) is safe. You don't need to that.
