I got a Pachislo 'Flipper' game for $50 in nice shape. It also has a wooden stand. They weigh about 100 lbs. Everything works fine. Will need help bringing it from my garage into the house. It can use both tokens and quarters.
I have a 'wantouchable' pachslo machine that's missing its coin mech. Is it possible to bypass the mech entirely and wire up a button that sends a pulse to the controller for credit ?
It's not unfortunately. It originally had a two plug NS-130A mech so I expect it's a lot more complex, or maybe even impossible.@@RetroGamingWithHopper

Hi I have one of these and can’t get it open. I have the key and I turn it, can’t open. Tried to pry is with a screwdriver, can’t open it. Any suggestions? Every time we plug it in the red lights flash and we are trying to make the game actually work. All of the lights work on it etc.
We dropped the lock on the one I just bought...well destroyed half of it actually but on the top I noticed 8 screws (after the destruction) unscrewed em and the door latch was RIGHT THERE urgh! Needed a new lock anyway but urgh!
There should be an opening in the back so you can reach in there (look with a flashlight)its a bit tight but you can unlatch the door easy peasy once you find it.

If you follow the speaker wires up and to the left of the reels, you will see where they plug into the sound board, In between the two sets of wires there should be a toggle switch. It has three levels, loud, Louder and WAY TOO LOUD! Some people just disconnect a speaker, some put cotton in between the speakers and the grill and some people install a potentiometer (A volume knob). Hope this helps.
i found it interestin that pachislo machines can be converted to take quaraters instead like i have a universal entertainment contest cranky its pronouned pachis-lo though i see it as pa chi slo...im gonan recap the stop board and replace the identical caps n the omron psu it came with the caps in the psu can be a later date as they look good currently and i plan to refinish the metal inside im doing it as a personal project for the machine i have

Even tho hopper is not empty do you know an easy way to fix this.? From my research im thinking its the hopper sensor . Ive not took it apart but i cleaned it and it still is doing the same thing. Doesn't help that there were no instructions and everything is written in Japanese script- Oh and the third wheel seems to spin a lot more than the first two, the third button is a lil off Where do I begin to search for how to fix this stuff? It's okay for now, but def. Want it working perfect eventually.... And def. Want it to accept quarters it's going to be her piggy bank

If yours is using a micro switch, yes it would be very easy to just put a button switch using the two wires.

It will continue to spin until you hit the button under the wheel. You can stop the wheel buy hitting the button any time.
Where are you located mine keeps spinning and the stop button doesn't work now it will not power up at all @@RetroGamingWithHopper

I have other problems like it won't even register a coin going through it as a credit. But this was very helpful. Maybe just a brand new coin mech
Try coining it up by hand first. You should be able to see where the coin goes through and hits the relay.

No I don't. I know you can set them to free play. This one a fixed for a customer and it had the manual, but he picked it up.
