SHEER GENIUS!!! Thank you for continually pushing, developing, refining, and improving suspension design, performance, and serviceability! YOU ROCK THE INDUSTRY!!
Make the jam nut and the washer in one piece and put a small shoulder into the washer side, that way you can incorperate more thread and the construction will be stiffer.
We were literally on a mates alignment machine with a new lock kit, with this problem with the adjustable e36 castor lollipop. Absolutely ridiculous having to take it off to wind it out 😂. Legends
I was wondering why no one was using something like this a few years ago when looking at control arm kits. Then I saw the LZ shop your video and ordered two smooth adjusters to incorporate in my own designs. (To be clear, the designs are for cars you don't have products for.)
What if you machine a groove in your smooth adjuster and drill a hole horizontally at the top of your loop. Use like a trailer hitch pin style pin clip to hold the smooth adjuster in place while you're making adjustments and assembling
I just tested out my FDF kit and I love it. I wasn't super happy at first, but once everything "broke in" after a few laps, it felt great. It would be a huge pain to install and setup if not for the smooth adjusters, which is one of the main reasons I chose FDF
Yea the heim joints are a bit tight out of the box but glad you gave it a chance to break in! We always recommend so scrub in laps before drifting on a new kit 🤙
One concern I have is the bare metal on metal contact. I'm not a current customer, for whatever that's worth, but if I was in the market I would feel better seeing a grease fitting on there if I was putting one on my drift/race car.
antiseize yes, grease no. much like a thread on a tierod it doesnt need to be lubricated. once tightened to its intended adjustment it needs to stay there. grease would be more for moving parts like bushings, bearings and ball joints.
Do you guys make the double adjusters or can they be bought off the shelf? Tried looking for the ones with the pinch bolts on the side everywhere and cant seem to find anything
@@FDFraceshop this nut keeps coming loose :( has happened multiple times and to the point its about to come off the car, i have now ugga dugga'd it tight now. Some oil does hit it though
Thank you for your products and all the informational videos! Been a life saver
Thank you for the support!

Love these on my C6's and daughters G35. Awesome products and simple to use!!!
thank you man!
Have like this design since I saw you guys implement it. Definitely a nice setup
Exceptional work.

great idea
Hell yeah!! Nice stuff!!
Pretty standard stuff on Buggy's definitely makes adjustments easier
Great Engineering right there. Top job.
thank you!
I can't like this video enough!

We sell our lollipops separately so you can run ours with any kit 🤙
@@FDFraceshop since been on the website and seen. Love you see a problem and always strive for a better way.
Il consider them in future 🫡. From 🇬🇧
@@FDFraceshop do you currently sell or have distribution in the uk?
working on it but currently we can ship to the UK and we do make M20 versions of these adjusters for the metric needs

all good thank you man!

They have that same design on a lot of aftermarket a-arm kits for mx quads
That’s a great design my mower uses that design only with an L hook instead of a heim joint
I got a few VW’s that could use bad ass parts like this🤙🏽 Great engineering&video’s
thank you!
Awesome adjuster set up. Will you sell these as fabricator kits for those of us with unusual chassis?
yes we could sell if you reach out, currently we have not created a universal method of use yet.

YEAAAAA BUDDYY
Smooth Adjuster, Smooth Operators!
Bring this to both adjustments on the fc lower arm
All kits will soon have them!
Would your e36 lollipop mounts work on an e30 with SLR angle kit? Such a pain to “guess” caster and then hope it’s good before the alignment rack.
Yes we sell an M20 lollipop that works on there kits so you can dial in the caster without removed anything 🤙

We do sell these in the fabricated parts section of our website
@@FDFraceshop Can you post a link to them? I cant find them in the builder parts
Thanks!
I bought two to incorporate in my own designs
Was hoping for some Evo stuff. Not for drifting but road racing. Lower control arms for front and the whole lot for the rear. Very little options.
we will make it there eventually with solutions!
Best m14 tie rod for my s15 ?
Can you put the lolly pops for BMW on OEM arms? (E46 M3 specifically)
Working on this, it will require a custom rod end!
@@FDFraceshop Legends!
Any plans for this in the S197 kit? Still on the OG kit and it’s going strong.
Yes all kits will have these adapted to them in time 🤙 thanks for the support
@@FDFraceshop I’ll have to update mine lol
Do you use any lock tight on the adjusters?
Non or blue locktite is the most we would do, but they really don’t come lose often
@@FDFraceshop this nut keeps coming loose :( has happened multiple times and to the point its about to come off the car, i have now ugga dugga'd it tight now. Some oil does hit it though
Over tightening can damage the threads and cause it to come loose easier in the future, careful with the ugga duggas
@Water.melon.Z i check mine every time i take it to the track, and occasionally it will lossen a little. Are you using the recommended torque spec?
Do you have the washer between the jam nut and the arm?

Same goes for you guys🤝
No s2000 stuff on your site tho 😢
