It seriously hurts me that we the new generation are just wasting our time. We must produce great scientists or we would end up dying without knowing the universe.

This is a great loss to the entire scientific community and it will be hard to continue without him. Although he is gone physically, Stephen Hawking will always be with us in our hearts and minds.

I must say, I feel the Einstein comparison that gets thrown around a lot just isn't fair. He was who he was he was the Stephen Hawking of his time. Such individuals as those two are in their own league, and were great for what they were and accomplished. To compare lessens the respect for both I worry.

Easily the best TH-cam video I have ever and will ever watch. This video made me tear up the first time I watched it, and I don't cry a lot. This man was a legend, trapped in his body yet free with his mind. I read "A Brief History of Time" and it is probably my favorite book ever, my mind was blown countless times. I hope that if and when we take to the stars, we will remember the name Hawking.
