If this was actually the ending to a DRV3 anime, I bet that during Chapter 5's investigation/trial, the entire screen would go static during the part they're supposed to show up, mirroring the fact that all the cameras were taken out.
Spoilers; What if Tsumugi wasn't actually a part of Team Danganronpa, and they randomly chose her as the mastermind? She still appeared in the prologue, I mean, that was probably just to make sure the player didn't think she was the mastermind, but what if she was a normal student that wanted to join the killing game? It would've made more sense than letting a member of the Team Danganronpa sacrifice her life just to make another season of Danganronpa. It's just my speculation though, I don't think any of this is right.

I just realised the time when they come is the order when they die(excluding kaede and saihara). Maki and the Magician girl survived with saihara, making them the last two to come.
Headcanons because I can: - Shuichi was embarrassed when Kaede held his arm, but didn't say anything to not make her feel bad. (Yes I like them together, toxic SaiOma stans don't come at me thank you.) - Rantaro took off Shuichi's hat from his head forcefully. He complained a bit in here because his hat is a sensitive topic for him, but he gave up in the end. - It took a good time to place the box where Ryoma was standing, but it made the picture look weird so Kirumi offered to hold him. - Angie waited for the picture to be taken in the pose she's portrayed, but she got tired of standing still and of Tenko friendly mocking her, and waited until everyone was ready. - Both Tenko and Angie insisted for Himiko to be between them. - Korekiyo didn't want to be part of the picture, but Kaede insisted until he agreed. - Miu was complaining because she wanted to be in the middle of the picture, but Kokichi wanted it as well and they started a fight. In the end, none of them were in the middle. - But later, Kokichi was whining because he was standing in front of Miu and Kaito was covering him, so he had to advance and sit on the ground, resulting in him whining even more until he accepted it, by Shuichi telling him that technically, he was in the middle. - Despite everyone were trying to perfectly frame the whole class for the picture, Kaito, Korekiyo and Gonta had to stoop, since they're the tallest ones in the group. - Tsumugi was fine with every spot she was positioned, she didn't complain that much. - Kiibo felt a bit jealous because Miu was participating with the set-up, especially for the camera, and he doesn't like when Miu takes out the genuine passion she has with machines in front of him. That's why he looks a bit angry in the picture. - Kokichi was complaining with having Kiibo at his right, and Kiibo was complaining about the robophobic remarks. Miu was laughing REALLY hard at the sight of Kokichi whining because of Kiibo, not because of Kiibo's confusion, she just likes Kokichi's suffering. - Maki was being the tsundere she is when she was putted near Kaito, and flinched a bit by embarrassment when he putted his hand on her shoulder. - Also, she didn't want to smile, but she was convinced by Kaede and Tenko. Rantaro was also trying, but he gave up since Tenko was calling him a degenerate. - When the time for taking the picture came, Himiko offered to be the one to set up the timer. On her way to positioning herself between Tenko and Angie, she tripped and almost fell, causing the other two girls to worry and the picture to be a fail at the first try, so they had to take another one.
They have to do a Danganronpa 2 version of this then we can have the trio complete also cuz I think the class picture would look amazing now I imagine all 3 of the games in one outro and Rantaro, Sayaka, Byakuya (imposter) show up first and Naegi, Hajime, Shuichi, Kaede all are in the middle
Real question is....is there a DR3 version? Like...the future foundation and the SDR2? I mean, it's no big difference, but they all _do_ live happily ever after in the end. Even Ryota. Just imagine the SDR2 cast like this, except Chiaki appears last and is transparent.
