If you wanna get technical it was a murder in self-defense as she did attack him first akin to a burglar posing an active threat and she did fully intend to kill him so it was premeditated. It was kinda a punk move to execute him for something he didn't do but then Monokuma wouldn't be able to do it to Mizano and that's a no-no. Much like Nagito's death in DR2 where he made it so Chiaki and Monami got killed.
+Webshooters1 well, in the game, it is explained how he broke the door of the bathroom: "he got out of naegi's room, went to his room grabbed his tool kit, then came back to naegi's room, broke the door, and killed her" so technically he has a bit of fault (although, i completely think that in the end it id the mastermind's fault)
he tried to save her , cuz she was bleeding to death , but when he opened the door she tried to attack him again and he ended up killing her :/ , Leon was never a bad guy

The anime was the reason I got into the Danganronpa franchise. And I'm still sad about the fact that they were classmates and forced to kill each other, and seeing each ending every episode showing all the characters happily taking their class picture is just... coming back from my danganronpa phase and listening to this is so nostalgic even though i was in it literally like less than a year and a half ago, just looking up danganronpa videos and seeing that little red bar under the video, all the likes i left on videos, etc. also back to a more simpler time than now. reading some comments on this video knowing they’re 9 years old and people who had their dr phases when they were like 14 are now 23 and it scares me
also knowing i used to listen to these songs before caring about who i was as a person and now listening to this nearing midnight knowing i’m a whole different person with new friends and that i have class tomorrow makes me upset for no reason
im back a month later, it’s friday night before a whole week off of school. all of my friends are travelling across my country and i didn’t go like an idiot and listening to this makes me want to sob thinking of how better off i couldve been back in december 2021 not being so insecure

They probably meant they didn't get excited during the episode, but that doesn't mean it *was* bad. They get more excited during the intro and the outro.

I love this song.
The anime was the reason I got into the Danganronpa franchise. And I'm still sad about the fact that they were classmates and forced to kill each other, and seeing each ending every episode showing all the characters happily taking their class picture is just... Not to mention all those pictures alter ego found as well as with the last trial.
