Such an easy thing, yet you are the only guy I have came across who can explain it in a way that doesn't make it overly complicated. And showing us how to do it is a big help. I topped mines up earlier and I usually just pour it in and walk away, but I will be able to do it properly now. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
Another awesomely helpful video. Made to look so easy, and most importantly so well explained. I'll be doing this at the weekend. Thanks yet again CarSpyTV. Top job!
Great video Stephen. Was I your crying friend :p. Happened to me, years ago on my e36, I loosened the rad cap a little and it fired all over mr. Lucky I was wearing my glasses. Still have a decent scar from it. I’m glad you earned of the dangers. Keep up the great content :)
Thank you, Matt. Glad you enjoyed the video. I know a few people who've been sprayed. It would be interesting to demonstrate the risk on camera. For example, build up pressure in the cooling system then release the cap remotely (from a great distance). That could be figured out. However, it's one of the ideas that should probably remain on the 'best not' list!
Thanks I done minebi didn't know about opening the bleed plug at the top of radiator when refilling coolant maybe the reason mines getting hot because it needs bleeding air out. Great video I watch all yours cause there easy to follow and we'll put. Thanks
You didn’t mention that the coolant additive you are using is an OAT product which stands for Organic Acid Technology and greatly helps in preventing corrosion.
How long would it Take at 2000rpm until the Main cooling fan should come to life? Had Mine running for about ten Minutes at 2000rpm but Main fan Isn't firing up... Else it seems to have worked just fine as per your instructions. Thanks a lot for the awesome instructional video.
amazing content very well explained with great visuals ... your effort is very much appreciated with the eccentric of a mad scientist / evil genius 🤣 we will enjoy watching this again
Good video. My corsa d heater never blows hot, so foggy windows all the time. Also coolant keeps going low. Told heater matrix problem, how much you think it'll cost for a mechanic to fit new one?
Hi, my friend put screen wash in her coolant so I flushed it out and put fresh coolant in, however, the fan is not kicking in and I feel the pipes are pretty solid so I think the thermostat isn’t opening. Any idea what might have gone wrong? The fan was working was working fine before
hi just wondering on my polo i had 2 or 3 bleed valves to open , now i have this car is there really only that 1 bleed valve on the radiator and thats it. Just wondering thanks

My corsa d heater never blows hot, so foggy windows all the time.
Also coolant keeps going low.
Told heater matrix problem, how much you think it'll cost for a mechanic to fit new one?
A new heater matrix isn't expensive. You can even get a used one on eBay.
The mechanic's time is the main cost and that varies from garage to garage.
Very educational
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Is this draining plug the same location on all corsa d’s does anyone know?
It's there on all the cars I've seen.
drain plug is stuck and 13mm won't get it off, can I get a replacement?
Yes, easily.
@@CarSpyTV Would you be able to help me with a supplier for one please?
Euro Car Parts is worth a look.
What’s the easiest way to get radiator hoses back on and do you recommend replacing the spring clips with hose clamps ?
Hose clip pliers. Also, If necessary, I replace clips like-for-like.
@@CarSpyTV okay thanks very much
going to do this myself thankyou for the useful video 👍
You're welcome and good luck.
can you pleeeeeese explain how a engine works? x
Hi Dave. I haven't covered this in a video, so the following link might be handy. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine
Hi, my friend put screen wash in her coolant so I flushed it out and put fresh coolant in, however, the fan is not kicking in and I feel the pipes are pretty solid so I think the thermostat isn’t opening. Any idea what might have gone wrong? The fan was working was working fine before

Thank you🫡
You’re welcome.
What key usin this work
What can you do if the heaters don’t work ?
Depends what you mean by 'don't work'. Fan doesn't spin? Fan does spin but there's no heat?
Iike the way you do a little pause before the next scene 😅
I'm hoping to win an Oscar for Best Director!
super👍
Thank you 👍
Please my Opel corsa D catalytic converter was stolen. I need some to buy. Anyone who can help me get some to buy? I will be very grateful
Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you can get a replacement converter on eBay. Or, you could phone a local scrapyard and see what's in stock. Good luck.
@@CarSpyTV thanks for the feedback…I really appreciate it
Amazing
Glad you enjoyed the video.
