Seriously, the OST of Turtles in Time is top-5 in the SNES library. The music in this game is legendary. Konami pulled out all the stops for this one. LOVE this game.
Turtles In Time has such a special place in my heart, I remember co-oping the game with my friend years ago...getting to the final stage and Super Shredder with one life left each, him loosing his last life so it was up to me defeating Super Shredder...both of us were so happy when I defeated him
3 years have passed since this run so I'm not expecting an answer, but I have to ask... if you're both playing as Raph, how do you know which one is which?
This was always THE game of my household that my sisters would make the time to play with me. I was Donatello, Sis 1 was Mikey, Sis 2 was Raph. Obviously we all didn't play at once. They ONLY played it while I was playing, and never did the game solo... but gosh darn this was an outstanding game. Father, one thing I'll always be thankful for, is how you knew which games to RENT, and what was worth BUYING. No references, no reviews, not even a recommendation. I don't know how you did it... I don't know HOW... but I'm lucky I was the reason why. Thank you, and I love you.
Definitely check out Sega version, TMNT Hypsterstone Heist. It's the same composer for the Arcade and SNES games, and he added new songs to the Sega version.
As much as I love all the classic SNES games, this might be my most played game on the system. I still listen to the music on a regular basis, so happy to see this game get some love.
I don't think I've ever seen this game's ending until today. Despite the fact me and my brother could finish it, we still had a lot of fun playing co-op together.
Oh man this game was my childhood. I remember getting so good at the game I could beat hard mode. Or was it beating easy without losing a single life? I'm not sure, but man kid me always used to have trouble fighting Slash and took me a really long time (years... I was like 5 years old lol) to figure out that you had to attack him from behind. Still remember how proud I was eventually becoming pretty good at this game. Man so much nostalgia watching these two break my childhood... at least a little bit with cloning Raphael and wrong warping XD
Would love to see this and the original Arcade TMNT in one amazing HD remake package with four-player online play. Would be awesome. Would be cool if they also made a newer TMNT game with new levels and enemies are threw that into the mix as well. Would be great!
Well, i never have SNES back in my childhood and i didn't know that this version of the game exists, but that was a very awsome run! Also, i played TMNT only on NES and then later on Sega MD2, and i played Turtles in Time only on emulators, when i got my first PC.
See this is why Ralph is the best turtle, speed runners went out of their way to find a glitch to get two of him because he's that damn cool. Y'all can miss me with the Mikey stuff.
I’ve played this game a ton, but never actually knew the Turtles varied. I think I always chose Leo, my favorite. Are the stats different in the NES games? (2 and 3.)
Runner introduction starts at 00:08
Run starts at 01:04
Couch commentary is provided by DarkAlexandr and Sinister1

I mean...two Raphaels makes sense given the plot of this game revolves around time travel.

Thank you all for such amazing support! We are happy all of those backup strats (and subsequent practice for them) paid off during this run. 💪😅

I remember my mom and I playing this back in the 90’s. Great childhood times. 😄
My god, i remember my parents renting the SNES and this game when I was 12. My brother and me played this game for almost 12 hours straight!
This game took up so many hours of my childhood. Easily my favorite beatem-up. Thanks for running it!
this game was really a big part of my childhood, the soundtrack just slaps
SInister1 is the best couch commentary in the buissness. Always on top on everything and paints it very vividly. Good job guys!
I hope they can run this game again next year, considering when Neon Night-Riders takes place.
We are hoping to represent 2020 properly as well too!
This games soundtrack is LEGENDARY. Sewer Surfin's been stuck in my head for over 20 years.

Rage it’s awesome to see how much love keeps pouring in for it. 💪❤️
Still holds up extremely well after all these years. Wow. Beautiful game.
Year 2020 - that's the next year 😃😃 17:00 This is how they though future will look like.
lmao
After all the craziness I just witnessed, I was all 'you can jump when you are in bomb mode?!'
Nicely done guys!
Ah the memories of this game , couch co-op at its finest me and my brother have beaten that game so many times as kids.
The feel on impact of hits and throws is amazing in this game.
Great run of a great game. I remember sitting in my bedroom floor as a kid playing this game with friends. Really cool to see it getting demolished.
I love the high fives and fist bumps these guys do after some levels, the true physical representation of team work. great run!
The couch was really informative. Really makes the run interesting to watch.
Loved this game as Child
I don't think I've ever seen this game's ending until today. Despite the fact me and my brother could finish it, we still had a lot of fun playing co-op together.
Kinda neat to see one of my favorite games of all time being run on a GDQ.
Always enjoyed playing this with a friend when I was a kid. Love these old beat em' ups. Especially Turtles!

So glad you enjoyed it. I remember growing up that my goal was to get to Slash with as many lives as possible so I could get through him eventually. 🤣
One of my favorite titles for SNES, awesome run guys!
I'm seeing double, four Raphaels!
As raph is my favorite and this is myfavorite tmnt game I appreciate and approve this
Always interesting to watch one of these vids once in a while and see how they break the current game.
Really well done Co-op. Great job!
Holey Moley that double Raph glitch.
This was one of my first videogames ever :')
So much nostalgia here. I don’t even remember beating the game but it all looke so familiar.
Raph is my favorite Turtle, and I get to see him teaming up with himself?! Two times the Turtle Power!
I remember as a kid I could do Sewer Surfing blindfolded up to the boss. Loved this game, still got the cartridge here somewhere.
I ate pizza before watching this and it was a perfect day.
My dad and I played turtles in time FOR HOURS
Same here
I played this with my friend and his brother for an ungodly amount of hours
Would love to see this and the original Arcade TMNT in one amazing HD remake package with four-player online play. Would be awesome. Would be cool if they also made a newer TMNT game with new levels and enemies are threw that into the mix as well. Would be great!
AUGH So sad I slept through this run cause I had to work early that day! Still loved the run and the runners!
great, consistently great play. pythonicus is a fun host, too
I get it, it saves a bunch of time, but damn I miss seeing Tokka and Rahzar. : /

Didn't have an snes until about five years ago it's awesome this game is tough but very fun!
See this is why Ralph is the best turtle, speed runners went out of their way to find a glitch to get two of him because he's that damn cool. Y'all can miss me with the Mikey stuff.
killahkazi double raph is the way to go!
"A little too Raph"
So that's where the Chuck boss music from Grand Poo World 2 came from!
Amazing run.
Bring these games to home consoles
That was really impressive
Dospostmann sounds like he could voice a ninja turtle too lol 9:23
I totally agree! 🤣
Never understood why Leonardo’s weapons were not the strongest...I mean he has freaking swords. Makes no sense
4:57 Lol totally remember him being one of my favorites
I’ve played this game a ton, but never actually knew the Turtles varied. I think I always chose Leo, my favorite.
Are the stats different in the NES games? (2 and 3.)
The stats are different on TMNT 1, only attack distance on TMNT 2, and TMNT 3 the specials do different amounts of damage.
I love this game
Awesome run dudes😆👍
shinobixa4 thank you shino!
"Oh hey, it's Raph!"
"Yeah, a little TOO Raph."
Oh man i loved this game!
Aw ShellShocked
_"First the sewers, then the World"_
Really Rat King, Really?
Hope to ser those two, speedrunning Shredders revenge.
How the hell are those four frames glitches discovered to begin with?
I'm eating pizza right now!
I Love it
You silly speedrunners! Don’t you know you can skip the Technodrome much easier just by playing the Arcade version?
Do the speed runners have youtube pages?
Shane C yes I do Shane. Dospostmann currently does not, but his content will be posted on mine from time to time.
PIZZA TIME! Let's kick shell!
Thought it was a speed run of the arcade game.
