@Han_Rayleigh which of the mesmer, warrior and engineer 1vx builds do you think is the strongest in your experience? and if you were going to do a duo with two people which would you pick?
Well, that's hard to answer because each class has different advantages.
Warrior - Easy to learn - lots of sustain - lots of dashes - constant spike dmg, if this is too low then you won't kill the enemy.
Mesmer - Medium (to hard) to learn - lots of sustain - good kiting potential as long as certain classes don't run away aka chasing is meh.
Scrapper - Hard to learn - less sustain - more damage than the other classes with the hybrid build, especially if you add condition sigils + pepper food at night.
Overall, I think the Scrapper has too much troubles with pressure compared to the other classes in outnumbered situations, even if you trade sustain for damage to kill even tanks.
I would say in outnumbered situtaions warrior and mesmer are both way stronger due the amount of sustain they have.
Regarding your last question:
I would probably end up with a completely different combo and build style that is better suited for 2vsX fights.
These builds are mainly designed for 1vsX, although they work well in groups. But since I like to min-max stuff I would probably go for something else in a group setup.
@@Han_Rayleigh thanks for reply :) Yeah I agree on min max but for now want to play same to keep it simple since they are newer. And looking for a duo that can get downs and survive outnumbered but also be able to peel / contribute to the sustain of the other via cleanse / heals / boons / cc. Id be curious as to your ideas on a good duo.
@aberavon72 As mentioned before, the warrior is easy to learn (but hard to master). Overall, the class allows mistakes, while other classes like Engi do not. So I would recommend warrior for newbies.

well, i think you will have better chances with short bow. main damage are grenades anyway
@@Oneiromant Short Bow got nerfed with the small balance patch on 16.04.24. Same goes for the Bulwark Gyro.
@@Han_Rayleigh yeah... And then there's the "nerf" on Guardian... I swear I feel like ANet is just screwing with us at this point
