  • Welcome back to Drifting South!
First off I want to thank Charlie Cruzen for his very generous and continued support as a TH-cam Subscriber. As Im uploading this video I am realizing that I forgot to mention his name in the video, so that will be coming next week. THANK YOU CHARLIE!!
This week I will show you more of San Lucas cove where we spent 2 weeks fishing and relaxing and getting to know some new friendly people.
San Lucas Cove has been our favourite stop so far and we are already planning to head back. We were lucky enough to pull into a site that had water hook ups and tat really made our 2 week stay possible. We would have had to move and fill our tank after a week.
There were showers and bathrooms on site. A few vendors would drive by offering different homemade snacks, meats and fruit. Santa Rosalía is a town close by that offered everything else we needed for our stay. Also there's a OXXO just up the street if we were craving a sweet treat or cold beer.
Brent unloaded the boat and was able to keep it on shore for us to head out fishing whenever we wanted... or whenever the wind wasn't blowing too much. Our freezer is now full of fish and the three of us will be enjoying it for the next couple weeks as we carry on down the coast to Mulege and the Playa El Coyote.
Thank you so much for watching and take care until next time.

Thank you uncle Glen! I had a really wonderful birthday and am starting to feel some Christmas vibes. Our next stop will probably be the one where we start decorating the RV. It will be different being away from Canada at Christmas. Take care 🌴✨

    Happy Birthday🎉
Nice that you are meeting such wonderful people along the way. Those friendships can be the highlight of your trips year after year! To bad the big one got away. Next time. I met so many wonderful people at Rivers Inlet year after year and during the travel back and forth from Everett Wa.

Thank you Charlie. The people we are meeting here are making a big impact on our trip. I’m happy to hear that Rivers Inlet gave you a similar feeling. 💕

That shell was a shovel nose lobster. It's considered the veal of lobster, they are super delicious! Another great video! We already miss you so much and can't wait for you to come back! -Josh and Abby

Good morning, Sunshine. I imagine that most of the Baja peninsula is pretty awesome area. Maybe not Quite as wonderfully Magical, as Rivers Inlet but it will do in a pinch. Big Happy Bday, Young lady. What is your actual Bday date, so i won't miss it next year. Wonderful video, of course. Thank you for sharing

Thank you, Robin! You are so right, there’s no place quite as magical as Rivers Inlet. But it’s much warmer here!! My birthday was yesterday, December 16th and I had such a great day. There was live music playing nearby since it was a Saturday so I really lucked out.
Thanks so much for watching! 🌺

Happy Bday Jenny! 🎂🎉🍻 Another cool vid. Often wondered what the highways are like on the Baja?

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and for joining on our adventure!
There are very few parts of the highway that are double lane. I’d say 90% is single lane and about 80% has no shoulder. So most of the time Brent is “sport driving” as he calls it. The trailer wheels are riding on the white line when we drive past a semi truck. There are many potholes that we try to avoid and sometimes you come across a couple bicyclists that you have to swerve around and of course there seems to always be someone coming in the opposite direction. It’s always interesting but we’ve been safe.

For sure drive safe. Thanks Jenny!

Hi did you launch your boat from the beach or was there a ramp to launch your boat?

    • @jenny_adrift
      @jenny_adrift  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

We launched it from the beach. San Lucas cove does not have sand so it’s very easy to drive on. The beach is all tiny shells
