Sledge handles pretty good I thought. Paint on the Bandet looks great. I liked the black and red. Wheels and lights are awesome. Just can't beat what works.

I like the RC cars I have quite a few myself but you're definitely attracts his fan boy and I get that usually people like one brand more than the other. Its all about having fun and doing what u like. My local hobby store has alot of Arma parts in stock we also have a lot of Traxxas parts in stock recently just purchased my 5-year-old and granite that Traxxas has been around for a long time I've had outcast and some others I think I want a xmax its always been one that I liked and its just a beast.

Great video MSM, as usual! I have a comment, the so called “whoops” have a more official name, one that I’m using from the community of Mountain Biking (MTBing, as you might be able to tell, MTB is one of my other main hobbies). In MTB, we’d call those “braking bumps”, now, braking bumps are NOT desirable, and are NOT made by the trail builders, unlike the “whoops” on the track shone in the video. Braking bumps are formed when many riders repeatedly brake heavily/skid on the same section of trail, often at the end of the trail, before a skinny (a narrow bridge type feature), drop, berms, etc. Because of all these tires repeatedly skidding, taking away dirt, and just bouncing up and down on that patch of trail, you eventually end up with the dreaded braking bumps. These of course are a handful of small-ish ruts/undulations in a small piece of the trail, it’s rattling to ride over, makes you lose some of your flow/speed, and is just unpleasant. Plus, the trail builders have to fill them in, so basically, don’t make braking bumps!

Bandits are so cool, IMO it is the definition of a R/C car, the buggy style is so sweet, and they run good and tons of upgrades if you want...we have the pink one believe it or not it looks so cool...

Since back in the 80s, when I got my Nikko Turbo Panther, I enjoy driving 2WD buggies. Again and again I was thinking about buying the Bandit but didn't like the for me 'toy grade' look. But the new version I really like. Next to the Xcite one10 and the Tamiya Racing Fighter I think the new Bandit will be my next 2WD buggy. Hope to see more of it on your channel soon 😉👍🏻

New to the hobby again after years of rcing. Just got sledge and do you have any recommendation on 3s batteries and charger other than the traxxas 3s lipo and charger combo for cheaper?
I'm surprised they haven't done a 4wd bandit...I know people used to convert their slash 4x4s and put buggy bodies on them
What a nice bash site :) I have seen loads of videos on the sledge, and what i can conclude is, its strong as f. but it will need an aftermarket spur, original one brakes to easy, servo is to weak, and some say that the esc is a bit weak to, other than that its great, but consider the price, is it ok that it has these flaws? opinions can vary, this is just what i can gather.

It looks like it flys quite well. Is the rear shock oil real light? It rebounds really bad. I’d love to see Traxxas do a mid motor mount 2wd.

Hello i recently bought the sledge and I want to upgrade the shocks on it. The front shocks part #9690 I wanted to change the springs as well as the springs on the back shocks part #9691. I just wasn’t sure on the size difference. Does the rear shocks take the 85mm shock springs? Part #9657? And the front shocks take shorter springs part #8969? If you could please help me out with this that would be great. Thank you
Does that thing use standard truggy tires with / 17mm hexes, or does it use some weird Traxxas only crap?

Got a bandit vxl and my only complaints are the wheelies and tire wear.
